Keep their hand low and their spirits lower. Everyone likes playing spells in magic, so why not take those spells from them before they get a chance?

Started with a standard 8 rack build, but didn't want to spend money on liliana or ensnaring bridge.

Without ensnaring I figured I could use creatures. I've always loved bloodghast for his recursion. And easy target to pitch to necrogen mists or a possible smallpox if it ever makes the 60. Pack rat is my second creature because I can pitch cards like bloodghast or raven's crime and get some value out of it.

I plan on continuing to grow with this list and see how it works for me.
