OK, so after a lot of editing, I've tried to, with my tempest/stronghold card and only £10 of bought-in cards from later editions (I was an old gamer!):

• create draw engines (charm/brainstorm/dismiss/diabolic vision) but...without scry(??)

• get Queen out by T5 (with Natural Order, Altar of Bone, Gemhide Sliver to get 5mana out fast)

• aggro with muscle/predatory sliver (if the control element fails...go aggro!)

• control with counterspells/mana leaks/dismiss

An infinite condition with intruder alarm and gemhide sliver/sliver queen, but this is just a bonus.

QUESTIONS!!

• Will I survive to T4/5 using the control elements to allow me to either a) rush or b) control to victory?

• Is the 2 graveyard dredge options (Volrath's Stronghold / Hymn of Rebirth) enough to get the Queen back out if i lose her?

• do i need more bomb cards? As I don't have any other monster slivers...
