TL;DR: Kill:
Rest in Peace
,
Energy Field
,
Helm of Obedience
, mill to death, backup
Entreat the Angels
.
=====================================================================================================
This deck is my first homebrew deck I ever made. It's designed to win through altenative kill conditions, by milling libraries at a time. It's still a quite personal jewel for me. :)
Typically I start with
Land Tax
, and draw as many lands I can until I can't no longer. This thins my deck. If I happen to have a
Scroll Rack
, the combo transforms the deck to a very crazy draw engine spiced with Miracle spells such as
Entreat the Angels
,
Terminus
and
Temporal Mastery
.
At some point, I put out my mostly primary win con.
Rest in Peace
. And later when I can,
Helm of Obedience
, and mill them to death.
To protect,
Terminus
and
Energy Field
, which the latter is a permanent bubble comboed with
Rest in Peace
.
Greater Auramancy
helps shielding my enchantments, but rarely I need it.
I used to have a
Jace, the Mind Sculptor
but it was very underused in the deck and felt a bit costly. And while
Energy Field
protects me, any planewalkers are undefended typically.
My main fear is cards that destroy all enchantments, as I have no protection against it except counterspells. Also decks that kill on turn 2 can be a bit of a hurdle, unless I happen to play before them and put up an
Energy Field
.
I just put in
God-Eternal Kefnet
with the strong synergy with
Drawn from Dreams
. It also works with the cantrips quite nice, since the casted card is a copy. Brainstorms and the like. Consider this, use
Scroll Rack
, or
Brainstorm
before each turn to put that
Drawn from Dreams
on top of your library, re-draw it, triggering
God-Eternal Kefnet
to copy it again... Nice synergy there, in my humble opinion.
I play with cheap cards, so no
Force of Will
or the like anymore.
