>Begone Short Description<
Our rampers are: Birds of Paradise and Noble Hierarch.
Gemstone Mine
may be a bit iffy to some, but it really smooths out the land base. I rarely ever need to use it a fourth time considering I should be winning by turn 4, and I have a large amount of rampers to compensate.
Our buffers are: Noble Hierarch, Sublime Archangel, Rafiq of the Many and
Qasali Pridemage
.
Qasali Pridemage
doubles as enchantment hate, which can be very useful against certain decks.
Our attackers are:
Blighted Agent
,
Knotvine Paladin
and Sublime Archangel.
Distortion Strike is needed so
Knotvine Paladin
can guarantee a win, but it works as it buffs and allows for a direct hit twice. Distortion Strike can be used for that last little bit of omph needed to for my
Blighted Agent
s. On the other hand, Simic Charm does that as well, quite well.
Simic Charm is also very useful against creature control, as it saves my creatures with of hexproof. And if I happen to face something that will kill me, like a creature from a reanimator deck, I can just return it to their hand.
Ranger's Guile is sort of like a mini-Simic Charm. If I need that one power buff I got it, and it also helps prevent against creature control decks saving me from losing my turn 4 win.
Remand is really useful with those games that I don't seem to be getting good draws. Effectively time-walking my opponent allowing me to have another chance to draw what I want, or strike for the kill. One turn is all this deck needs to change the tide.
Congregation at Dawn is this deck's time bomb card. Allowing me to tutor up whatever I need to put the opponent on the clock. The best thing is I can plan ahead 3 turns in advance for situations if they kill whatever might be my win-con at that moment. The best tutor for selesnya, without it that turn 4 win would never be so consistent.
