The 300 deck is a deck shared by all the players in a game. The deck contains a balanced mix of all types and colors of cards (except for planeswalkers, who would be too strong for the format). There are many Unglued and Unhinged cards to ensure maximum funnitude (but no "Artist mechanic" cards because they're lame). This deck is not meant to be taken seriously! I should also mention that the deck does not contain any "search your library for..." cards so that disgusting amounts of shuffling can be avoided. And don't forget to grab a pair of D6s - you'll need them for some of the cards.

SPECIAL RULES:

  1. In order to avoid being mana-or-creature-screwed, there is a rule where you can discard either two lands or two nonland cards in order to reveal cards from the deck until you get the opposite of what you discarded (e.g. I discard a mountain and a plains, then reveal cards until a nonland card appears). All other cards revealed are then removed from the game. This entire action can only be done during your upkeep (or as a replacement for your draw step, but I'm not sure if I like that one).

  2. A single card is placed face-up in front of the deck. Any player may swap a card in their hand for the other card at any time they could play an Instant. Quick, grab it!

  3. Before each game, a player rolls a D20. Each roll corresponds with a different universal enchantment that will affect each player over the course of the game (e.g. Mana Flare would make each land produce double the mana). See the update for more details.

  4. The maximum hand size is nine cards. At the beginning of each player's turn, that player draw two cards instead of one so that the pace of the game doesn't go too slowly. You can go with the regular one-card draw in larger games, but it's really just a matter of personal preference.

  5. If you only have one Chaos Confetti, you can just rip up another card that you don't need. :3

NOTE: the cards in the Maybeboard are ones that I need to swap out, but don't have an alternative in mind. Any suggestions would be appreciated (as with the rest of the deck).ANOTHER NOTE: I realize that a lot of the white cards have two white mana in their costs. This can be a problem, and I'm not sure how to get around it without getting rid of some of the funniest cards in the deck. Hmm.

Updates Add

Before each game, a player rolls a D20. The roll corresponds with an enchantment or artifact that affects both players and cannot be targeted or destroyed. Here is the current list:

  1. Maelstrom Nexus
  2. Fervent Charge
  3. Urza's Filter
  4. Concordant Crossroads
  5. Fecundity
  6. Gravity Well
  7. Prismatic Omen
  8. Revelation
  9. Rite of Passage
  10. Rites of Flourishing
  11. Vernal Equinox
  12. Everlasting Torment
  13. Gibbering Descent
  14. Dream Halls
  15. Invasion Plans
  16. Mana Flare
  17. Need for Speed
  18. Ricochet
  19. CUSTOM - once per game per player, if a player has under 5 health at the beginning of their upkeep, that player may draw a card at random from the Super Special Stack O' Creatures and put that card into play under their control as if it were just cast.
  20. No artifact or enchantment (alternative - write a card with your own house rule).

The last two can be slots for agreed-upon house rules. For instance, if you want to play strip magic, you can create an Enchantment that says, "Players can't gain life. For every 5 life a player loses, that player removes an article of clothing." Truestorybro.
