Well you should. So you get the meaning of this phrase: Put ze fun in camps vhy don't you. This deck is one I went against twice last night. I lost against one of them. The other had two many one drop creatures .

fun police is right! would you mind elaborating on your SB a little bit?

@Mpapp591 Hey I updated what I though you meant by "SB" and I wrote a note at the bottom of the Description, explaining why it wasn't so elaborate

y stroke the flames in sideboard

Frydryk213 says... #7

end00196 Because everything in my deck is effectively 3 drops or lower, and I haven't felt the need to have to kill the 4 toughness creatures when I have been able to kill my opponent straight up

What do you think of Dragonrage? I think it would quite fit nicely.

February 8, 2015 2:27 p.m.

Frydryk213 says... #9

HYAKU_SHIKI It would be if i didn't constantly having lethal by turn 5, so there are few spots i would need Dragonrage

How do you deal with Circle of Flame, I have a similar deck and can't see a way around it.

February 9, 2015 7:35 p.m.

Frydryk213 says... #11

Junglenman the only way I could deal with it is if I splashed green and add Destructive Revelry, or just F6 lol not much you can do about that when you run everything under 3 cmc and in mono red...

Frydryk213 says... #12

There is a reason I want to run that in Mirror match-ups

Wombat604 says... #13

Why dont you run Goblin Rabblemaster?

February 10, 2015 9:09 p.m.

Frydryk213 says... #14

Wombat604 you read budget right? also I know how good of a card it is, and yes I've thought about it, but I want to keep the CMC down, Yes I know I have 4 drop in the deck, but it has dash and Hammerhand ability in addition, but if I where to turn this deck into a mid range deck and shy away from the 1 drop madness and add larger Creatures I would so add the rabble

I also play mono-red aggro and have had alot of success with it. The card im wondering about is Collateral Damage. whenever i have had a close game with this deck, the number of creatures is rly important and i dont have one to spare. are you sacing your creatures in response to removal to get extra effect??

February 12, 2015 1:47 a.m.

Frydryk213 says... #16

Entomo I don't use Collateral Damage like a normal burn spell, I use it to counter my opponents kill spell, or use it to finish off my opponent for example he has 2 creatures out, and i have 3, he is at 5 hp, he blocks lets say I am swinging with 2 Monastery Swiftspear and a Mardu Scout that I dashed in , Now i only have 1 mana open and 1 card in hand, Yes Titan's Strength could win me the game in this situation too, but so can Collateral Damage and with it being a 3 damage burn spell that i can use in responds to a Bile Blight, Hero's Downfall any target kill spell, just to burn 3 to the face for 1 mana and a creature that was already going to die, it has ineradicable value. because im going 1 for 1 and getting 3 damage to the face, also removing 1 of the limited kill spells in my opponents deck. that alone is good enough reason to run Collateral Damage then being able to use it as a 2nd titan strength in "good" situations as I listed earlier, It is just another tool I use to win the game...

And Entomo Thank you very much for the question and I hoped I answered it fully

@Frydryk213, what would be the non-budget version of this deck? Just fetchlands to thin it out? I haven't played standard in a few years, but I wouldn't mind getting back into it, maybe even with this deck. Aggro is kind of my thing. Could you also post your results after tonight if you play? Thanks.

-4 Stoke the Flames -4 Eidolon of the Great Revel and then add what fits your LGS on the sideboard shedidthistome

@Frydryk213, taking out those eight cards would make it non-budget? I don't get it. Maybe I wasn't clear. I see that this is sort of a budget deck (you included that tag anyway), so I am wondering, what you would take out and what you would add in order to make it more competitive. Thanks :)

February 14, 2015 5:49 a.m.

Frydryk213 says... #20

shedidthistome take out those 8 cards taking the price of the deck down $40 and it's super budget, to be honest the first week I played it I didn't run those, and I went 5-0. take those 8 out of the sideboard put what you want in, and it is a cheep fast fun deck that wins.

@Frydryk213, you're totally not getting what I am saying and I am pretty sure I made myself super clear. I am asking what to replace in order to make this deck NOT BUDGET anymore. In other words, what would take out and put in, in order to make it a MORE EXPENSIVE, COMPETITIVE deck, one that is NOT BUDGET in any way, shape, or form.

Frydryk213 says... #22

shedidthistome Yes It was late, and I'm stupid as dirt... I am thinking about going 8 fetch lands 10 mountains, adding in 4 rabble masters adding in break through the line, and removing some of the other small drops and dash due to Break Through the Line

Hello I was at Dark Tower Games for FNM, and I just wanted to check the deck out. Looks good, but I am not going to use the heel-cutter, instead a playset of rabblemasters.

Frydryk213 says... #24

spookie87 I would suggest taking out the Mardu Scout over the heel cutter but Hope to see you next week

Nice deck, I'm trying to build this for next week's fnm. There seems to be a lot of R/W aggro going around at my shop and I feel like one of the ways to beat that is just go faster than it. Anyways, I was wondering how collateral damage has been working for you and why you decided to run it over wild slash. Thanks!
