I've tried Riptide Laboratory and I always find that colorless lands just don't mix with triple blue spells like Cryptic Command, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, and Azami, Lady of Scrolls. Talrand, Sky Summoner is certainly a possibility but I don't know if I'm going to be able to put those drakes to use. Knowledge Pool is an interesting card that that would certainly be helpful but Treasure Mage would be kinda weak if that's his only target other than Caged Sun

trust me Riptide Laboratory is an absolute must, saves azami from spot removal, re-uses Archaeomancer and Venser, Shaper Savant. in EDH you dont HAVE to cast Cryptic Command on turn 4, save that amazing card for later you should be ok on blue symbols honestly. it is just way too good to not include, play with it a couple of times and you will understand.

well you have Archaeomancer and Time Stretch, with Riptide Laboratory that's a win con. You are mono colored, utility lands are your best friend. IMO you need more lands tho. 35 at least, 31 is just too low you wont hit 5 to get azami without a rock.

31 lands is pretty low but it's just the amount of land that's worked the best for me.

Riptide Laboratory is a great Wizard-tribal land. Also, Talrand, Sky Summoner could perform nicely in this deck. You could also use Treasure Mage and Knowledge Pool in combination with your Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to put your opponents in a softlock (and create some more hatred against your deck, of course).
