Sideboard

This was my attempt to make the most annoying deck for my playgroup... and it delivered. Everyone hates when I roll this deck, and many times they will just scoop before I can even get the lock down in place. I have to admit, from a griefing standpoint, this is a very fun deck to play.

It started around the Platinum Angel or Platinum Emperion combo'ed with the Darksteel Forge. But with the addition of Padeem, Consul of Innovation, this deck went to the next level.

Equipping Swiftfoot Boots on Padeem creates a nice little lock for him and any artifacts on the board.

I've won my fair share of games to opponent's scooping, but I've also won by just cranking out artifacts and overpowering my opponent(s) with Cranial Plating on one of my utility creatures.

It's light on the counter magic for a blue deck, but it seems to be enough. The biggest problem is agro decks or board wipes (until the lock combos are in place).

I recently replaced Tinker with Planar Bridge just to give my opponents a chance... Tinker is such a dirty card... but if you are feeling dirty, put it in there.

The equipment are just a mish-mash of crap I had laying around, but they seem to synergize pretty well. I'm sure it could be streamlined, but if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a great wiper/finisher for this deck, and I'd have another if he wasn't so expensive.

Anyways, check it out, have fun, and make comments if you feel like it.
