I would suggest hiding the old comments (the update has a checkbox that implements this feature).

Have you tested Golgari Charm over Abrupt Decay ? I found it to be a little more versatile and it could free up some of your sideboard as one of it's features works like Rootborn Defenses .

I have not tried Golgari Charm . It would be quite nice to combat board wipes but would not be mainboarded. I'll sideboard it because the only thing I'd be using it for would be the regeneration. Thanks for the suggestion

Is the name a reference to the Flood from Halo?

November 4, 2012 6:12 p.m.

hollandboys says... #7

Nope, people have guessed that before. Good try though

DaCeltics got it. Finally. Song by Peter Gabriel. Thanks for the +1s by the way. Which decks do you want me to +1?

November 4, 2012 6:34 p.m.

DaCeltics says... #11

It doesn't matter. I just googled ''Here comes the flood meaning'' and thats one of the things that came up.

Damn, figured someone would do that. At least I don't have people guessing on my deck's comments anymore, didn't realize how long it would take for someone to get that

I've tried Parallel Lives in the past and it is just too slow. If it was less than a 4 drop I would use it but it's just a waste of a turn when I can be doing so much more

What about Cloudshift or Restoration Angel to blink Thragtusk ?

November 10, 2012 7:59 p.m.

hollandboys says... #16

Restoration Angel would be an option more for the flash and flying capabilities but I don't currently own any and can't think of anything that would get taken out where it would be worth it

Lustrigia says... #17

Thragtusk is the only target for Restoration Angel , in this deck. This is a token deck. Don't be stupid.

Stein_ says... #21

cyclonic rift knocks you out, so watch out for that.

November 12, 2012 8:44 p.m.

hollandboys says... #22

Ya I've had huge problems with Cyclonic Rift . I almost lost one of my matches at FNM because of it. However, this deck has an insanely quick recovery after board wipes so it gets by decently. It's not like I can really do anything to combat the rift anyway, I'll just have to suck it up

very impressed with this deck +1, mind explaining your sideboard?

November 14, 2012 5:53 p.m.

CallMeCrazy says... #24

also this is the first deck ive seen with this color combo

November 14, 2012 5:54 p.m.

hollandboys says... #25

Really? The colour combo is called junk and it's actually getting pretty common as people realize how good it actually is. I was just a little ahead of the pack. As for the sideboard Oblivion Ring , Sever the Bloodline , and Abrupt Decay are for taking care of troublesome creatures depending on what I see in the first game. Abundant Growth is for mana fixing if I need it, generally I will enchant a land that does not produce coloured mana, like Vault of the Archangel . Rest in Peace is to counter against reanimator decks and it has already won me a match at FNM. Sundering Growth is for enchantments and artifacts
