The deck is designed so that you can sit back behind your defenses, and slowly build your army while the rest of the group battles each other. First thing you need to do is, of course, to have enough ramp so that you can start your defenses as soon as you can to deter aggro decks. Then once you have enough defense in place, you can start to build your token army, which will be buffed by not only the commander, but by various effects in the deck.

I would like to have help in focusing the deck down to not quite a competitve level, but one that provides a very good challenge to seasoned players.
