Where are all the Gray Merchants or the Nykthos Shrines?
You are playing mono Black with so much devotion and yet you dont use it, it seems kind of strange to me :P

The land brother. Pain seer will punish so much... nothing more than 3 mana
April 19, 2014 7:11 p.m.
Im just saying, its probably 100 times better to get rid of pain seer and add those cards :P

I'm thinking of going 4 coinsmith guy in place of night veil specter
April 21, 2014 11:28 a.m.
I dont realy think the specters do much for you to be honest, and think coinsmiths can do allot more, you probably dont need the card adventage from specter since you will have more then enough to cast from your own deck if you get card advantage with the pain seers. :P
I also dont realy think you need 4 elixirs, i asume its mostly for the 5 life gain, adding 4 hopeful eidolon instead could be much better for you.
Especialy if you do change the specters for coinsmiths, thats 4 more enchantments.
And with that added 1 drop you might want to concider removing the Cacklers for a good 2 drop, seeing as you only have 4.

4 athreos just seems like too much. Also, I'd take Soldier of the Pantheon over Nyxborn Shieldmate any day. Even if it isn't an enchantment, it's just better.
Also, Spear of Heliod could help out a lot as well. Help with some devotion for athreos, and pumps your little guys up

28 creatures that are enchantment creatures. Should provide good synergy all around. I know spirit of the labyrinth doesn't prevent them drawing if i have say a master of the feast out, but she is a good 2 body that can prevent card draw early on and sit on master of the feast until late game if it's close.

I will go to 26 creatures that are enchantments and use 2 SOTP for now. Spear of Heliod will come in as a 2 of in place of 2 Athreos, God of Passage , but I will try the quadra athreos, as just like brimaz, there will be a lot of hate for him.

+1! Also, I think some number of Spirit of the Labyrinth could be replaced with Thoughtseize and/or removal.

I'm still considering Brain Maggot and Aegis of the Gods but no to Grim Guardian or Godsend . Godsend is amazing, but not in this deck.

Deck seems okay Spear of Heliod would be good for this deck as well as Eidolon of Countless Battles to be a huge buff or huge creature.

They are double white cost, it will be hard, but I'll see, thank you!

-4 guildgate + 4 Mana Confluence
-4 Hopeful Eidolon +2 Soldier of the Pantheon
-2 Swamp +4 Gift of Orzhova
Mana confluence much better than a guildgate.
Soldier of the pantheon is the best one drop you have, and should be at 4.
I would use gift of orzhova over hopeful eidilon, it's cheaper than the bestow version and better in almost every way. (can't become a creature should the enchanted creature die, but who cares.)
make those changes and I think you have really got a good deck here.

Gift of Orzhova doesn't really fit what this deck is trying to do. For example, my opinion is, Master of the Feast > Gift of Orzhova , very simple test on what to put in or not.

Hopeful Eidolon is specifically meant to be dropped as a creature. Late game can still bestow, where as Gift of Orzhova is a dead card with no creatures on board (Supreme Verdict has ensured this in mono-white decks i tried playing)

I could be mistaken, but Spirit of the Labyrinth is extremely detrimental to the set up. Doesn't stop the opponent from drawing extra cards due to the Master (Technically they draw during your upkeep, it doesn't prevent them from drawing in that instance). Also, it would prevent YOU from drawing extra with Pain Seer

I knew about the master part, but didn't realize about the Pain Seer part, thanks for catching.
