Here's the current B/G Delirium list that I'm playing!
This is, by far, my favorite build in a very long time. It never seems to get old no matter how many games I play. Because I can win so many different ways.
First off, let's name some helpful early game Delirium enablers:
Liliana, the Last Hope just makes the deck better. She protects herself with her +1 and can enable delirium with her -2 and allows me to get back any creature in the graveyard. And as we all know, her ultimate means that your opponent better kill you immediately or it's over. Lili is a key piece to this deck's success.
Vessel of Nascency is an incredible delirium enabler. It speaks for itself and often enables delirium on turn 2. Also, it can find a Lili for a timely turn 3 planeswalker.
Dead Weight is a great turn 2 play for decks that play early creatures and is a perfect Delirium enabler early game as an enchantment.
Grapple with the Past is another fantastic turn 2 play to get closer to Delirium, and at instant speed.
Terrarion. I seem to be the only person I know that plays this card. To me, it's a no-brainer. A potential turn 1 play that provides card advantage and helps Delirium. It also repays you 2 mana of any color combination after you use 2 mana to sacrifice it and draw a card. I LOVE this card.
Evolving Wilds speaks for itself. Putting land into the graveyard is essential to getting Delirium online as quickly as possible.
Next, the creatures:
Grim Flayer is easily the most effective creature in the deck. He is a fantastic 2-drop with a 2/2 Trample body. But he becomes a 4/4 with Delirium, and allows us to fix our draws when he does combat damage to a player. This guy is a beast.
Mindwrack Demon is just so good. So good. It beats most heavily played removal with its 4/5 body and it has flying and trample. In a Delirium deck, he almost has no downside.
Gnarlwood Dryad is just good. A 1/1 deathtouch for is never bad, but this dude turns into a 3/3 deathtouch for after Delirium. It's hard to beat.
Ishkanah, Grafwidow is the Holy Grail of the deck. She has the potential to come out turn 4 with a Deathcap Cultivator on the field, and with Delirium, putting 4 bodies on the field on turn 4 is just insane. Not to mention, when this card comes out against flash flyers, the game is over. I am never sad to see this card in my hand.
Sylvan Advocate is just too good not to play. With Hissing Quagmire as a big part of the mana-base, it's straight up value town. Long story short, if you're playing green, you're playing Sylvan Advocate.
Den Protector is always good, a 2/1 that's often hard to block is good, but morphing into a 3/2 and getting that one card back from the graveyard is fantastic.
Emrakul, the Promised End is the be-all end-all. She's often easily cast for 6-7 mana and almost always seals the victory. She certainly can be beaten easily but, if there's no answer, the game is over. I love me some Big Momma Emmy.
And lastly, the removal:
Grasp of Darkness takes care of almost any creature early game and severely cripples them in the late game. This is the best removal in standard and any less than 3 copies feels real bad.
Ruinous Path is a flashy Murder. It hits planeswalkers if need-be and in a pinch, it can Awaken into a huge Hissing Quagmire.
The sideboard is based around my meta and what's heavily played right now. Any questions or suggestions there are always welcome!
Thank you guys SO MUCH for taking the time to check the deck out and if you read this, thanks again.
I hope it can inspire.
Blessings
