The Jeskai Way
For the last six months for standard, I have been playing warriors. So you can imagine what is was like when I got a fresh start when someone lended me the cards for this deck. As it turns out though, I like this deck a lot more than warriors because it can actually hold its own in late game. Now I'm sure you're almost asleep reading this so I'll just move along to the card choices.
Creatures:
Dragonlord Ojutai: I don't know about you people, but I like Anticipate built in on a creature. Not to mention it's a 5/4 body, and it's hexproof as long as it's untapped.
Keranos, God of Storms: Because it puts the opponent on at most a seven turn clock. And if the devotion somehow gets up there, he's a tank.
Mantis Rider My Hangarback Walker protection and aggressive creature. puts my opponents on a eight or nine turn clock.
Soulfire Grand Master: My Anger of the Gods now has Lifelink. Enough said.
Thunderbreak Regent: As if Dragonlord Ojutai wasn't annoying enough, now the opponent gets bolted if they try to destroy it.
Instants
Anticipate: Basic draw spell to get lands out of the way or if I need them, in my hand.
Dig Through Time Upgraded Anticipate with delve, but I mean, we don't have Snapcaster Mage in standard, so what are my instants and sorceries going to do in the graveyard?
Dissolve: Basic counterspell. The scry is nice too.
Draconic Roar: My favourite burn spell in standard right now. In this deck where nearly all the creatures are dragons. Not to mention that this with Soulfire Grand Master can gain me three-to six life.
Dragonlord's Prerogative: I like to keep a full hand.
Ojutai's Command My toolbox card, it can replace itself, gain me a bit of life, revive my Soulfire Grand Master and even counter a creature spell
Silumgar's Scorn: Another basic counterspell except it can actually be the Counterspell.
Sorceries
Anger of the Gods: My solution to any aggro deck. Also my main lifegain source.
Tragic Arrogance: Because when all else fails. . .
Planeswalkers
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon: My other wincon, this card shuts down games and wins most of them. Long story short, if I get him out, it almost always turns the tables in my favor.
This deck needs all the help it can get so suggestions are very appreciated!
