Game plan: play warriors, attack face. The deck mainly revolves around chief of the edge and scale which are value bodies with an anthem effect to all other creatures in the deck besides Butcher. Athreos is terrible. Mardu ascendancy is a perfect fit in the deck both in its ability to go wide and help against bile blight, besides just being extra value every time I attack, and combining well with rabblemaster. Butcher of the Horde is a permanent lava axe, and combos well with Rabblemaster and Mardu ascendancy. Tymaret, the Murder King is an easy 2 of, no more because of legendary, no less beacuse reanimation and direct damage. Dictate of Heliod is super great in making the deck relevant in mid-late game and is an extra anthem on top of ascendancy and the chiefs. This deck could very well be called mardu anthems. Still kind of in playtesting mode to determine which cards are the best fit.

Went 4-0

First match against a budget Jeskai deck that was just too slow to matter against me 2-0

Second match against Abzan midrange. Managed to get under the curve again, even if one of the games was won due to land screw 2-1

Third match against planeswalkers, won 2-1, the deck again was able to swing in under the curve and beat them out before elspeth could hit the field

Fourth match against BU control. 2-0. Onlsaught of creatures early game + reanimation with Tymaret and return to the ranks + ascendancy evading drown in sorrow + hasty butcher of the horde taking out Ashiok = bad times for the all out creature control
