This is my oldest and most stable deck. I've played with this since the main cards came out in Return to Ravnica and it has served me well, giving me a lot of fun, victories and opportunities to learn. The mechanics are obvious and simple: Burn the opponent and counter any resistance he might try to muster. The stars are (as it always should be) the goblins: Goblin Electromancer and Guttersnipe. Using the cheaper instants and sorceries and getting the additional 2 damage for just casting them is lethal, turning your defensive counters into a constant barrage of damage that will not only control your opponent's turn but also make him bleed and also turning 1 drops into 4-5 damage killing machines.

To bring in even more heat you have Gelectrode, basically paying homage to Goblin Sharpshooter (one of my favorite cards of all time), who can become an efficient field sweeper and also giving extra damage when needed.

To solve the blocker problem you have Nivix Cyclops and Wee Dragonauts , who can also serve as offensive creatures when possible.

Finally, I have Tibor and Lumia as my token killers and Jace, Architect of Thought, the lesser of the Jaces, as a steady supplier of instants and sorceries as well as good anti-spammer.
