Instant (8)

Artifact (3)

Sorcery (4)

This list has been performing really well, so I wanted to share it :)

Running 21 lands is the most recent version, I started with 23 and 4 cleansing wildfire + 3 Bonders but bonders is often the third artifacts that turns on metalcraft so I went a little heavier on them cutting a land down to 22 then more recently cut another to run a 3/2 split of cast down and snuff out.

I was hesitant to run goldmire bridge at first, but the number of mountains does make them quite usable with cleansing wildfire and 12 artifact lands help get to the golden number 3 for metalcraft.

Overall 17 removal spells makes sure I can dispatch an early threat and keep the game rolling, and 8 turn two plays keeps the momentum up between 4 cleansing wildfire and 4 dusk legion zealot. On the point of dlz, I think thraben inspector might better since it grants an artifact to help with metalcraft, but dlz and ephemerate (Given the opportunity that opponent taps out) draws three cards with two cards for three mana, where thraben would be drawing three cards with two for eight mana since you have to spend six for the three clues. Also if the opponent taps out, I'm not afraid of snuff out with dlz, like I would be with thraben inspector. I keep thinking that maybe priest of ancient lore might be better in the dlz slot as a better phyrexian rager, but three mana is very different from two and there's already plenty of lifegain around with the four bcv.

I'm currently not running the monarchy because an up and running bonder's with seven or eight mana already draws a second card every turn and the deck is quite rampy for not including green. that being said though shrek might be worth it with all the removal around and he's a decent beater.

Bleak coven vampires is the name of the game here though, as playing it then ephemerating it is a 12 point life swing making the number of bolts that can go face quite relevant, so much so that in games I'm often end of turn bolting the opponent just to get them down a little farther. If you squint and don't care about the lifegain, ardent elementalist can perform as vampires 5-7 getting back a galvanic blast to throw at the opponent when their life total is dire. Juggling ephemerate with ardent and bleak coven is absolutely crushing as well though pretty easily disrupted by the opponent having two instant speed removal spells.

Chainer's edict is one of my favorite magic cards, as I hate losing to boggles and at first I was only running three but when you need it early and are not running cantrips to filter into it, I think the four of is required. I side it out almost every game though, as if they have creatures on the board that they don't care about it doesn't truly perform well. I also like having cards in the main that are solid choices for siding out but that's a personal preference thing I bet.
