I'm surprised you are running so few lands KibaAlpha, are you often missing early land drops? I typically run around 36-37 lands to ensure consistency.

How is Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim performing for you? I'm considering cutting her from my deck.

Did you ever consider Mimic Vat and/or Nim Deathmantle for recursion? Makes for a deadly combo with Kokusho, the Evening Star and provide great value otherwise.

I have yet to run in to any mana problems.

Do I miss the odd land drop? Yes, sometimes but I have enough mana rocks to fill that missed land drop when it happens.

Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim is one of my solid sac outlets/targeted removal and I have zero plans to replace her.

The two cards you suggest yes I have considered them and even tried them out. Instantly targeted and removed. :(

Overall I have very little if any problems with land drops, mana and card draw.

I am still trying out the self recuring creatures I’ve started putting in place of tokens. So far so good.

Good to know, I will give Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim a chance to prove herself before removing her. Thanks!

I am also going to replace token producers with more self recurring creatures, I can certainly see the value.

Is it a deliberate choice to be combo free? Simply adding Sifter of Skulls, Pitiless Plunderer, or Pawn of Ulamog will allow to to go infinite with Nether Traitor and Phyrexian Altar

It was a deliberate choice but since I’ve added back in Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar I should update that description now being okay with infinite combos.

Out

Doomed Traveler, Hunted Witness, Orzhov Enforcer and Myr Sire.

In

Pawn of Ulamog, Sifter of Skulls, Songs of the Damned and Culling the Weak

As a result, the avg CMC has risen from 2.55 to 2.60.

If you can afford to get a Scroll Rack get one. Land Tax + Scroll Rack is outstanding! Plus they are both really solid cards on their own

I would personally say that Scroll Rack depends on what your hand size looks like in most games.

If you're down to 2-3 cards then Rack doesn't dig very deep and is very underwhelming on its own (and gets even worse without great draw engines as your hand size continues to dwindle). If you've consistently got a grip full of cards (4-5+) Scroll Rack is an all-star.

What about Desecrated Tomb? You have numerous creatures that leave the graveyard,so why not an artifact that can churn out tokens from the process?

I've been wondering, it seems like you play far fewer "synergy" cards and far more "good stuff" compared to my list and other lists I've seen. How does this affect your gameplay? Is it why there is no Pitiless Plunderer?

Pitiless Plunderer was in the deck but I found it wasn’t needed.

As for the gameplay I don’t run in to any issues in multiplayer games. 1v1 though the deck struggles to come together if my opponent has plenty of removal.

KibaAlpha that card works great in Teysa commander I think

I also agree, Pitiless Plunderer is a must run for me in my Teysa deck.

I assumed that KibaAlpha wasn't running it because it could easily accidently go infinite and he was trying to avoid that.

@SirChris39

The card is good I don’t deny it’s not. In my build against my playgroup though it just at this time is unnecessary.

@TDemers

There was a time when I wanted to avoid infinite combos and I still do but I’m no longer going out of my way to avoid them any long.

@SirChris39 @TDemers

I am curious as to what cut either of you would make to clear a spot for Pitiless Plunderer

KibaAlpha I never not played a aristocrat deck yet but in my opinion would to cut relentless dead

KibaAlpha

I would consider cutting: Bloodtracker, Dutiful Attendant or Bubbling Muck. Bloodtracker being my top choice.
