KibaAlpha You Not sure I agree with your removal of Blood Artist and addition of Bontu the Glorified and Bontu's Monument. Blood Artist is a staple, and if you're simply replacing it with Bastion of Remembrance I'd personally say that's something I wouldn't recommend. Teysa thrives off of redundancy, so why not have both?

Just curious about your thought process behind these changes.

Thank you for your feedback. My thought process behind this decision is looking to deal damage to all opponents not just "target opponent". My playgroup when I play my Teysa deck paints a very large target on me and doesn't allow me to make deals or alliances. I'm forced to go at all my opponents at once. I'm trying out ways of doing that.

Will my decision to remove the cards I have be a mistake? Maybe, maybe not.

What do you think of Lurrus of the Dream-Den ?

I like the card. It may actually find it’s way in to this deck.

I’m in the process of returning this deck back to the token deck it started out as and I’m pretty sure there are plenty of cards I had in here that would benefit from that card.

Thank you for your upvote. Appreciate it.

I really think Krav, the Unredeemed would be great in here. He is a cheap way to sacrifice big token armies while gaining insane amount of life and card draw.

Hi, have you considered Boreas Charger, after checking, if it die, Teysa will double it's ability, so we could have a way to ramp 2 land each turn if an opponent is ramping and satisfy our land drop each turn.

Tzefick says... #11

Eloniel It wont work. Boreas Charger is a "Leaves the battlefield"-trigger and not a die-trigger - so Teysa sees nothing and does nothing.

Tzefick It's false, "Leaves the battlefield"-trigger trigger Teysa ability if it goes to the cemetery.

"An ability that triggers when a creature “leaves the battlefield” will trigger twice if that creature leaves the battlefield by dying." source: enter link description here

I stand corrected. I haven't read up on Teysa enough it seems. Thought it was specific enough to only allow die-triggers to function.

May I recommend Faith's Shield to replace Rebuff the Wicked? It does everything you want RtW to do, and more; mainly making an indestructible blocker for a turn if needed

Also I was wondering why you run the Lotus Lands that need you to sac 2 lands and tap for 3 mana. You don't seem to run any land recursion so what's the point of them?

RtW and LoC were in there as a maybe. I've since removed them but I did like your card suggestion over RtW.

Thanks for bring up those lands. I'd been meaning to remove them for a while now.

No problem! I'm also curious what prompted your most recent changes? You seemed to remove some of what little removal you had, and I was curious why you made the other changes you made (mainly in instant and sorcery)

My decision is based on what I've been striving to achieve with this deck from day 1, 100% pure Aristocrats.

Do I mind if my oppoents remove pieces of my board? Yes, but I have replacements.

When I think I have room for other cards I add them until I find something else to help keep this deck doing what its meant to do.

Anointed Procession might be good, I don't play EDH so I'm not the best judge of how good a card is in this format, but I feel like it has a lot of good synergies in a deck like this

Looking through your lands:

I would probably not run Witch's Cottage. Seeing as you only have 15 of your lands that are Swamps (12 basics, 1 Urborg, 1 Shockland, 1 Alpha-Dual) to enable the rest of the payoff, the amount of times you can reliably trigger this effect and get something useful out of it, seems to be overshadowed by a tapped land on any other occasion.

You have 6 (7) lands that by themselves only tap for colorless - one is Cabal Coffers and doesn't tap by itself, another is Nykthos that requires a great deal before it starts tapping for colored mana. I would worry to end up with too many non-colored sources, especially since you run with low cost cards with limited generic costs. I would say you don't have enough mass-draw to get proper value out of Reliquary Tower, so I would replace that with a colored source. Personally I would drop Hall of Heliod's Generosity as well, but that's up to your attachment to your selection of enchantments.

I would probably replace some of these with an Evolving Wilds (just for the fixing) and basics. You can also look forward to Vault of Champions. You could consider Temple of Silence. Normally I would suggest High Market as a sac outlet within your lands (and thus seldom removed), but you do have quite a few sac outlets in your deck, so it should be possible to get redundant copies.

I'm a little puzzled why you run the Snow-covered basics... Are there many people in your playgroup that uses Extraplanar Lens? Or is it just an aesthetic thing?

I don't know your playgroup, but I would say you're a little light on interaction. It seems you're mostly focused on doing your thing. So if an opponent is doing their thing better/faster, you have very little means to change that outcome. Just something to consider.

Thank you for the suggestion. It was a card I considered when I first brewed the deck. It's good to be reminded of such cards. It's not one I've recently thought about till now.

Tortured Existence could be useful, especially with SomeDipshit’s Desecrated Tomb.

Phyrexian Reclamation is usually vastly superior, but I like that Tortured Existence is a discard engine
