Really cool deck! :3
There might be few cards to think about:
1) Haunted Crossroads/Mortuary - both goes pretty well with Bolas's Citadel in sacing and re-casting creatures, especially if that creature gives you more life than you paid for and/or drains opponents aswell (Gray Merchant of Asphodel).
2) Bitter Ordeal - just in case your opponents somehow doesn't lose to negative life, just exile their entire library after some big/infinite loop of death triggers :D
3) Malakir Rebirth
Flip - just as an additional protection for Teysa or another important creature at the moment. Or just extra land if needed.
I use all those cards in my Syr Konrad's For the Void deck and they all work pretty good. Any kind of feedback would be appreciated aswell :D

Thank you.
Haunted Crossroads love it. Was looking for cards similar to Phyrexian Reclamation.
On the fence with Grey Merchant. Like my land Nykthos I'm looking at just how much devotion I'd have.
Bitter Ordeal does seem so synergistic. May have to make room for that. Good interaction and something I was wanting to improve.

KibaAlpha I would say Bitter Ordeal is a possible wincon when you are able to go infinite, and when not it can disrupt against opponents you know are mainly combo orientated. I would not consider it interaction like I would removal on the board like Wrath of God or Despark.
The way you'd go infinite would most likely be through Bolas's Citadel, at which point I would argue that Aetherflux Reservoir serves the same wincon but is a lot more flexible/valuable throughout the game.
I feel like you have a few too many cards dedicated to card draw/card advantage.
Erebos, Bleak-Hearted, Erebos, God of the Dead, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Arguel's Blood Fast Flip, Dark Prophecy, Greed, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, Skullclamp - and adding card advantage cards; Phyrexian Reclamation, Bolas's Citadel, Athreos, God of Passage.
I would probably cut some of the less efficient / most mana hungry, like Erebos, God of the Dead and Arguel's Blood Fast Flip. You have a lot of sources giving you card draw, but if you spend your mana on getting cards, you cannot cast those cards you draw. If you still feel too light on card draw, I would rather suggest one-tricks like Night's Whisper or Ambition's Cost.
I like being practical, so this bit is a bit tongue in cheek. Commander is about the big splashy stuff, so I get the motivation behind these but...
Black Market feels a bit like a greedy fantasy, without much intention. You hope to drop it down, sac some creatures and cash in on the mana next round, but there's no X spell finishers or particularly demanding costs. It would seem most likely that this mana will be used to cast a few spells in hand, pay Commander tax, or sink into Greed-esque cards. It feels like it doesn't support much in your game plan. The same could be said of Cabal Coffers. It's there to fill a fantasy, but one that is unlikely to see reality.
Reading through your deck's comment history it seems like you've walked back and forth from using infinite combos. It also makes more sense to me why you have so many Doomed Traveler-esque cards instead of token generators and death synergy cards.
If you want a more casual structure, I would say Pontiff of Blight is a good way to sink mana into, and it turns even the smallest and crappiest creature spell into a meaty drain chunk with the Extort of a few creatures on board.

My thanks and appreciation for taking the time to type out long and detailed ideas, suggestions and explanations.
I've gone ahead with removing/adding based on your thoughts.
Not sure I agree with taking out Black Market but perhaps after play testing.
Several cards impress me and I'm happy to have them brought to my attention.
Fixed up the land base to have more coloured.
Thank you for the great feedback.

KibaAlpha to go infinite with Bitter Ordeal I use Desecrated Tomb + Phyrexian Altar + Tortured Existence
. Could also use Gravecrawler with another zombie. Or for another usage for infinite Bitter Ordeal, I use Bolas's Citadel
+
Gray Merchant of Asphodel
+
Haunted Crossroads
with Phyrexian Altar to go infinite; with Mortuary as a possible replacement for Haunted Crossroads and removing the need of having Phyrexian Altar on board, then if any opponent somehow stays alive, Bitter Ordeal them :D Emergence Zone if you need to flash Bitter Ordeal.
Tzefick: I would agree to keep Black Market in deck. Yea, it costs , which isnt something amazing, but even in mono-black, its not hard to ramp into it and witht the right cards (or even if any opponent goes crazy with sacing creatures), you can get some great mana value from it. In a worse case, it eats some enchantment removel and "protects" your more important ones.
The thing I would be more careful about is Dark Prophecy, since it can kill you, unless you have something to negate the life loss or something to shuffle your GY back into library (Elixir of Immortality/old Eldrazi titans)+discard.

For sure.
Also Black Market is not a bad card, but sometimes you get caught up in the "what if"s and you don't actually see the results you want as consistently as you want.
Take True Conviction. It's an extremely powerful card and if you drop it and can immediately swing for huge damage, it might be worth it. However I found it was always getting countered, removed, board wiped or similar, so it drew too much attention to the point it wasn't really adding to my chance to win.
PS - seeing MrKillStar's comment.
Considering there are so many life gain cards in this build, I wouldn't worry too much about Dark Prophecy.

Oh forgot to mention, Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools. He seems a bit random in here. You want him for the token or the occasional Innocent Blood?

It's a shame they have flying (considering Luminous Broodmoth) but have you considered Vesperlark and Reveillark?

Thank you both for taking the time to offer your, ideas, suggestions and points. You've both helped in refining this deck even more to a version I'm very happy with.
My Appreciation and Thanks.

I see you've got a lot of cards that ping your opponents when a creature dies and plenty of guys who make tokens upon death. Perfect fits for Teysa, naturally. But in the late game, you might appreciate a way to bring lots of creatures back - even briefly - as a hard-hitting finisher. Rally the Ancestors, Wake the Dead, Immortal Servitude and Return to the Ranks all fit the bill, especially if you have a sacrifice outlet on hand to immediately turn them all into life-loss. Cauldron of Souls and Pyrrhic Revival are particularly interesting, since you don't mind at all if your creatures come back with zero toughness.

What about the other Teysas... Teysa, Orzhov Scion or Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts.
Kokusho, the Evening Star would fit the theme also

Appreciate the observation. I'm looking at your suggestions and seeing what else is out there. I thought I had solid creature recursion but it's not mass recursion and I have unfortunately overlooked that. Thank you for your Eagle Eye.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I can see Teysa, Orzhov Scion maybe finding a spot in the deck (not sure what to swap out with at this time) but Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts no chance. Her CMC alone is to high and her ability doesn't really fit with the deck.
If I could guarantee having Teysa Karlov on the field each time I sacrifice Kokusho, the Evening Star then he'd be in the deck.

KibaAlpha I agree, Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts has too high CMC.
Another suggestion could be Wurmcoil Engine and it's dying trigger - delivers you addintional tokens and infinite combo-potential with Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar.

Sorry for doublepost but Keeper of the Accord could also be a nice addition as it ramps you and can bring you additional tokens to sacrifice
December 30, 2020 7:35 a.m.
First let me say I do appreciate the suggestions you've offered up.
As for Wurmcoil Engine and Nim Deathmantle I'm not a fan of infinite combos.
Keeper of the Accord would be good if I had a lot more then 5 basic plains in the deck.
The ability to create tokens is sub par at best compared to the ways I create tokens as it is.

Thank you for your post. Let's start with the snow covered lands I have. I love snow and thought they looked cool. No other reason than that for them being in the deck.
I have the Hall just due to the amount of removal my playgroup runs.
I've removed the Cottage as it was sub par in its performance.
There are a lot of ideas running around my head at the moment and I'm looking to focus the deck and improve the interaction.
