There are three main combos in this deck, all revolving around creating infinite death triggers, so in addition to the listed cards each one requires a Blood Artist-type effect to deal infinite damage to your opponents:

  1. Karmic Guide + Reveillark and a sac-outlet of your choice.

  2. While having Phyrexian Altar or any old sac-outlet + Pitiless Plunderer, coupled with a random zombie (which admittedly, this deck doesn't run many of), you can infinitely sacrifice and recast Gravecrawler.

  3. This combo requires you to have Nim Deathmantle and either Ashnod's Altar or {another sac-outlet, Teysa Karlov and Pitiless Plunderer} (you need all three) out. Then, you can take your pick for the third piece from among Weaponcraft Enthusiast, Hallowed Spiritkeeper with a creature (if you want to be spicy, you need two or Teysa) in your graveyard, Mausoleum Guard or Ministrant of Obligation. You sacrifice the chosen creature, either creating two tokens on death or already having them on the battlefield from their ETB. The deathmantle will trigger, prompting you to pay 4 to return that creature to the battlefield. Well, you already made 2 mana, so it's a simple thing to sacrifice one of the tokens for the missing 2. Rinse and repeat for infinite death triggers. This combo actually does some good even without a Blood Artist, making infinite tokens and therefore infinite mana. If you perhaps have a Debt to the Deathless in hand, you could try breaking the record for the least life a player has ever had.

Now, you may have seen that this deck has a reanimator subtheme to it. This is mostly to help you piece together your combo, but let's talk about when you should reanimate which creature:

  • In the early game, drawing cards is king, so if you can manage a T2 or T3 Vilis, Broker of Blood reanimation (preferably with the actual card Reanimate, since it will draw you 8 cards immediately), you're pretty much set for the foreseeable future. Even if he's immediately killed, if you still have open, you can at least draw two cards and maybe kill a mana dork.

  • In the middle to late game, if you already have other creatures you can sacrifice, Razaketh, the Foulblooded is much more viable. A repeatable tutor? Hell yeah! This should easily let you assemble one combo or another.

  • Have Weaponscraft Enthusiast and Ashnod's Altar out but your Nim Deathmantle got destroyed by those pesky opponents? Sun Titan is there for you, always fixing your problems. Seriously though, if you can repeatedly activate him (for example with Karmic Guide and/or Luminous Broodmoth), he's really, really good.
