I'm starting to cheer a bit for our Nivix Cyclops group :D
Really looking forward of how this Johnny strategy is gonna pay off

I'm still partial to the Blood Baron group, but that is just because I am partial to Orzhov in general..
The Cyclops group is doing pretty well I think. They are grabbing what is needed to make it work, and with it being triple DGM, there are so many Fluxchargers and Cyclopes to go around.

I'm certainly very interested to see how the Nivix Cyclops idea turns out.

Same here, though I'm still plumping for RussischerZar. Their group seems to have the best drafting ideas.

If only Teleportal was available in DGM, would be awesome for the Nivix Cyclops group

Team Darkness has plenty of Nivix Cyclops and Fluxchargers, what they really need is more maindeckable instants and sorceries. Their strategy can afford to play Hidden Strings and Uncovered Clues but you really don't want to maindeck either if you don't have to. Also, one big advantage they will have is that the cyclops and charger are somewhat resistant to Runner's Bane .
If I may ask, how are the odds determined?

Sorry. Didn't even think about it. Linking cards is just habit on the site.

@Arachnarchist - The odds are based solely on my personal judgment. Also, it is indeed safe to link cards now.

In other news, I messed up the packs last night, so we're redoing it today. The next picks will be visible here sometime tomorrow.

Keep up the good work Caley! Can't be easy to coordinate and analyze all this!
July 16, 2013 4:38 a.m.
Just a question, are you allowed to play more than 4x of a card if you get to draft more than 4 of them? I know in Sealed you're allowed to, but not sure if you are in Draft.
July 16, 2013 10:28 p.m.
Ah ok. 5x Nivix Cyclops + Maze Glider sounds like a hefty proposition. Though I didn't like the strategy at first, it IS a very interesting one.

Am I the only one who is completely dumbfounded that Armored Wolf-Rider made it to the 14th pick (Pack 2)?
July 21, 2013 9:19 p.m.
Nope. I really liked Armored Wolf-Rider when I was drafting, the 6 toughness really puts a dent in any aggressive plan if you can get it out, which isn't hard with the surplus of cluestones.

Good, so I'm not crazy.
I find it kind of funny that the Rider just totally owns two of the decks being drafted: The gatekeeper deck (Leafssuck) and Team Cyclops (Darkness)

You gotta watch out for Team Cyclops though, because their Cyclopses can fly if they get out Maze Glider
. That was a heck of a pick.
Putting up pick 2 now.

We are now updated, with odds, analysis of Pack 3's contents generally, etc. etc.
I'll bring back the odds chart after Pick 7, and then again at the completion of the draft.

I'm really curious to see how well will go Darkness1835 deck. I hope they don't mess on the deckbuilding round, neither on the matches.
