tl;dr: 11y skipped, went 4-1 with Silumgar (UB) colors, enjoyed.
I didn't play for a while: I skipped the last 11 years in MtG. I used to play Type 2, but my entire collection is lost (thanks by my friends). I didn't have better idea to (re)start with, so I went to prerelease today. I chose Clan Silumgar (UB), kept the main colors only then went 4-1!
Game I.
2-1 against RG, there was 6 mulligans in this 3 games. Didn't got lands at round 1, next 2 was flawless victory (got no dmg).
Game II.
2-0 against RW, I did the mulligan then I didn't draw good cards, so I almost died. I had 3 life then I turned the game with Dragonlord Silumgar (steal + attack). Second round was easy 1 dmg to me 20 to my opponent.
Game III.
0-2 it was a mirror matchup. In game 1, unfortunately I didn't draw active cards (3 island from Mystic Meditation). In game 2 I made 2 mistakes, so I sold that game too. Don't worry, my opponent played very nice (I think he is one of the mtg judge...) and it was so close! 3 vs. 6 lifepoints See you guy next time!
Game IV.
2-0 against UW(B). Easy round for me then a harder one. I got 8 life when he died. Many attacking/blocking creature removal, a few counter and my greatest enemy "Whisk Away" (btw it's a great card!).
Game V.
2-0 against GR(W). He had 6 dragons at least in his deck but I got better solutions for this time. 20 vs 0 then 14-0 life. In the first round he didn't draw enough lands for the dragons, the next game was a great example of my control. He was my old exemplar when I used to play magic so it was a great success (for me) to beat him! Thanks the game again btw!
And there was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the whole day. Thanks for reading this. GG!
*side: I was thinking a lot on Butcher's Glee but I dropped it out as Qarsi Sadist.
