This is a turbofog/tutelage deck similar to James Newmans deck before Theros rotated. It stalls out the game with "Fog" effects to stop damage and countering spells. The deck wins by milling the opponent out using sphinx's tutelage with alot of strong draw spells like Magmatic Insight Tormenting Voice Treasure Cruise and my own addition of Jeskai Ascendancy .

I will explain each card choice below.

Sphinx's Tutelage, it is our main wincon of the deck, it is pretty hard to find a better way to win when playing turbofog, because tapping out to play a fatty might cause you to lose. We require open mana to fog spells. So with a cheap card like the tutelage to win we can turn our wincon into drawing cards, which digs up more fogs.

Alhammeret's Archive, the archive is in the deck because it generates immense value with the draw spells inside our deck, and can very easily win the game with a tutelage out. I only run 1 because it is 5 mana and generally weak without other spells with it.

Magmatic Insight , it is one of the better draw card spells in standard, finding a land to ditch with it should be easy considering we run 26 lands and draw a lot of cards. It gives us cheap draw to either look for tutelage or trigger tutelage, and puts 2 cards in the graveyard for Treasure Cruise

Tormenting Voice, another cheap draw spell, that comes with a drawback, the reason we run only 2 is because we have limited space, and it is usually a strictly worse Magmatic Insight .

Treasure Cruise, drawing 3 cards for 1 blue mana is overpowered, which we can easily do in this deck with all the cards we discard and play.

Jeskai Ascendancy , I decided to add this to the deck after seeing the card played by the opponent on a video on youtube. It gives us value off of our fog spells, and triggering tutelage.

Negate, I ran out of cards I wanted to see included in the deck, and this seemed like a good choice to fill the last spots, it can protect our fogs from being countered, our tutelage from being destroyed, and protect our face from burn spells.

Radiant Flames , a mainboard answer to aggro decks, I had space in the deck and felt like it was too good not to include.

Winds of Qal Sisma Revealing Wind and Encircling Fissure are all of my fog effects, to stop me from, YOU KNOW, DYING.

I will now explain my sideboard choices.

  • Another Negate for the matchups where I feel I need to protect something.

  • Disdainful Stroke for the annoying stompy creatures whose effects entering effects are strong like Siege Rhino

  • 2 more Radiant Flames for the aggro decks.

  • Surge of Righteousness , also for aggro decks, it kills annoying guys and gains me life.

  • Dispel for the decks with a lot of non creature spells, like Dark Jeskai or Control.

My last 2 sideboard slots are undecided.

If anyone could comment with advice for mainboard and Sideboard changes and additions, it would be appreciared.

Updates Add

Added Hedron Alignment for the lols, I understand if you don't want it. It has ways to discard it and exile it so it can work. Just here because it can.
