The new dual lands in BFZ really make it easy to stretch the mana a little bit. This is a potential player for me post-rotation as it contains a great deal of value cards. The Blossoming Sands and Tranquil Coves will become Prairie Streams and Canopy Vistas whenever tappedout gets them.
Den Protector makes this deck tick. It get's back fallen Deathmist Raptors and keeps our hand filled with high value cards.
Soulfire Grand Master lets us rebuy all our powerful spells in the late game.
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
gets our card draw flowing and stocks our graveyard for powerful treasure cruise plays with Soulfire Grand Master.
Hangarback Walker Provides massive value in all stages of the game.
Mantis Rider is our heavy hitter that closes out games.
Nissa, Vastwood Seer
provides land drops which are very important to the beginning of the game. Late game Nissa, Sage Animist just provides too much value and can take over the game by itself.
Deathmist Raptor applies pressure whether it's in play or in the graveyeard.
Dromoka's Command keeps the board clear of any pesky enchantments. It also buffs Hangarback Walker and protects us from getting burned out late in the game. It's the best command in standard.
Ojutai's Command gets us back Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
, Soulfire Grand Master or Den Protector while letting us draw a card or gain life. What a great value!
Treasure Cruise is just nuts at drawing cards and letting you run away with the game based on value.
Gather the Pack is great for filling the graveyard for Treasure Cruise. It's also wonderful to mill over Deathmist Raptors. Also, it typically just digs us deeper to the creature we can to play at all phases of the game.
Roast is simply a great answer to a lot of threats right now. It destroys Abzan decks.
The sideboard is what needs the most help. I figure this deck turn into more of a Jeskai deck after sideboarding. It just seems like the best for right now.
