Sideboard

Have you ever wish your friends were more super? and even if that they ARE super, are they super and RUGged?

Main Deck:This is a R/U/G (splashing black) midrange control deck that uses the value generated by planeswalkers to overwhelm the opponent and win the game. There is a ramp package included in this deck with Arbor Elf and Farseek to ensure that you are not sitting around trying to drop your walkers, this deck can hit a Garruk, Primal Hunter turn 3 and then begin generating protection not only for himself but his other rugged friends and curve out into Ral Zarek and Tamiyo, the Mooon Sage. Usually with more than one planeswalker going it is very difficult for people to deal with the both before one of them hit ultimate. And nearly all the ultimates in the deck are game ending (excluding Garruk Relentless   ). Garruk Relentless   is the rugged tutor of the deck calling out a non Planeswalker superfriend AEtherling . The Planeswalkers we really want to ultimate are either Tamiyo, the Moon Sage or Garruk, Primal Hunter although an ultimate Jace, Architect of Thought can usually win the game. The creatures in the deck are support and stabilization through lifegain and additional value Thragtusk, Zealous Conscripts and Huntmaster of the Fells   and while they may not be the MAIN win condition of the deck, along with Kessig Wolf Run they can all be lethal. Searing Spear , Mizzium Mortars and Pillar of Flame all provide early game protection as well as protection for your superfriends.

The Sideboard:The sideboard offers an array of answers that are mostly geared toward aggro, the Nightshade Peddler-Izzet Staticater combo is a proven one that can make a death touching pinger at instant speed and synergizes well with Ral Zarek's +1. These two decks usually come in against midrange decks that are aimed a bit more towards aggro than control. The same goes for Turn / Burn as it maximizes value of the card by minimizing their cards (Thragtusk/Boros Reckoner. Syncopate can come in against a number of matches but mostly decks that require on a few spells ie. Sphinx's Revelation. The black splashed in this deck is mostly for some interesting sideboard tech that i feel is invaluable, Golagri Charm which utterly decimates monored decks, Slaughter Games which slaughters (see what I did there) control decks chances of winning with say an AEtherling or an other singleton card and finally Olivia Voldaren who herself is a tank capable of not only stabilizing but totally shifting a game if you untap with her, providing so much protection for your planeswalkers through draining or stealing the opponent's creatures and she usually grows large enough to take the game herself. She basically comes in every match I play against any deck with creatures. She is a great way to stabilize with no access to Supreme Verdict and she was the original reason black was splashed in this deck.
