I went to scyfall and added essentially any card with an R&W casting cost that's under $.50 (sorry Boros Charm and Rise of the Hobgoblins) and tried to make a deck out of it.

And it worked! I have now play tested this deck in both budget and non budget metas and it did well in both! The general is surprisingly resilient and while this deck didn't win all its matches, it affected the board in a meaningful way several times. It was fun to pilot and I plan on tinkering with this one forever as more and better boros spells are printed.

Note to friends: Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon was indeed $.50 in December of 2023, but now that's beyond TCG Player's price history
