The goal of the deck is to generate massive amounts of mana from Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or Karametra's Acolyte to funnel into a Genesis Wave or Villainous Wealth . The stipulation here is that I can only play cards that can be cast solely off of , except for Villainous Wealth , which I can cast off of Command Tower , Mana Confluence , and Utopia Sprawl . It is kind of cheating but the deck felt like it was lacking payoffs and I love the card. The reason we are in 5-colors is because the best sources of devotion (other than Khalni Hydra ) are the hybrid cards from Lorwyn .
