In response to splashing blue, an alternative to Distortion Strike is Artful Dodge.

This isn't $5... That's for singleton. This is $26.12 if you don't include the forests. Also it's 5.53 now.

Would this deck help for example 4x Turntimber Grove or add to sideboard 4x Viridian Corrupter? Because i think adding to sideboard anything else wouldnt help speed of this deck...
Thanks for reply!

I just built this deck, am rather looking forward to trying it out against a few friends to start with. I substituted two Giant Growths with two Rancors, and also tossed in the one Canopy Vista I just got in the BfZ release because it just felt right, man.
Thanks a bundle for the inspiration, upvoted, have a nice day.
PlaneswalkerBoss, I feel like land that enters the battlefield tapped would sort of go against this deck's early power. Personally, I'd much rather have a usable land on the field in order to be able to activate an instant as soon as possible.

Having a tough time desiphering how T2 and T3 wins happen with this deck. Someone explain to me plz?

Turn 1: Forest, Glistener Elf. Turn 2: Forest, attack. Groundswell (Landfall triggered), Giant Growth, Mutagenic Growth (paid with Life). Victory through Poison.

Ohh, cuz i was trying to go though it in my head and i was thinking:
T1: Forest, Glistener ElfT2: Hope that you have all 4 Mutagenic Growth and a Groundswell/Giant Growth. pay 8 Life.
:S
But your way seems more uhh... achievable.

For anyone wondering, this is not $5 anymore. I added it up to $28.48, and my local card shop does a 25% markup on most items, so for me to buy it it'd be $35.60

Cheers for the idea. Put the deck together by selling a thot knot seer and got change back. Last night it won me the tournament 1st place 4-0. I profit $40 from the win. So thank you very much.

Apostle's Blessing is slow and should not run in main board but maybe in the side board. It should be replaced with Phytoburst
You should also side board Mending Touchor maybe even main board.

Also, Vines of Vast Wood is good but you can only give a creature plus 4 plus 4. But with a card like Phytoburst It gets plus 5 plus 5. I also bought the deck and took it to Modern. I went 3-1 only lost that one game cuz my opponent got out Melira, Sylvok Outcast. Over all for 28.08 bucks this deck is crazy good.

In my own brew of this deck I run a playset of Plague Myr, although it is clunky it kind of fists as a extreammly budget alrternative to Inkmoth Nexus and has helped out getting things like Apostle's Blessing or anything else that has generic mana in its cost. also 2-4 Rancor should be added. $5 a card is not bad for what it does. If you need to hit 1 or 2 more damage and they have a blocker trample helps, plus getting it back is always nice. maybe split the difference with Predator's Strike?? that is just me

Would it be bad idea to put blue in, and why or why not? I was thinking that by putting blue could give me Distortion Strike and Blighted Agent

2 colors are very very slowing this deck but it is more reiable to kill your opponent...
June 4, 2016 1:14 p.m.
So would it be better to keep it at 1 color for tournements?

Don't think it matters. If the budget is high enough you can put Distortion Strike, Blighted Agent, and Mana Leak in by putting in either 6-8 Islands or 4 Breeding Pool and Hinterland Harbor

Scrolling all the way up, I see a clear misconception. prihodaj, galaxyeye, the spells go on the stack one after another and resolve in reverse order. In each step each player receives priority. He will play his spells and/ or drop his land, depending on the phase. If you play the pump first, then apostle's blessing, the blessing will resolve first, which means that the pump will be countered. You have to play the blessing first then the pump, so the pump will resolve first and not be affected by the blessing.

The problem with Spinebiter is that it costs six mana so either you have to wait until turn six to play it or you have to put ramp in your deck. The problem with putting ramp in this deck is that it takes up space, which means that you can't buff up a creature as much as you normaly could. You would probably be better of splashing blue to put in Blighted Agent and/ or Distortion Strike, even tough Distortion Strike is a litter pricier than other cards.
