Awesome deck my man, truly love it.
Have you considered Rancid Earth in the place of Rain of Tears?

how do you have 53 wins with this deck at your lgs without losses? is anyone there competitive? grixis delver would tear this deck to shreds with really good tempo counterspells like daze and force of will.

IsaacSwan14 This deck has lost before but has always prevailed in matches were it wins at least 2 out of 3 games. My LGS is a bit sparce on counterspells, however I've found that I have gotten by just fine when I use my sideboard cards such as Cranial Extraction, Thoughtseize and Memoricide to search for them.
Hunson_Abadeer Thank you! That's a great upgrade, thanks for the suggestion!

Bontu's Last Reckoning could be a card to consider.

I know this moderately similar in the idea and structure of 8-rack, but is there a way to make this deck modern legal without altering it too much? I really want to give this a shot and wanted to know if there are substitutions for the cards that fit into modern but are different than the normal copy/paste meta decks.

PickleNutz I'm afraid not. All of the core cards are not modern legal (Strip Mine, Sinkhole, Black Vise, Blight). If I'm not mistaken I think you can make this lagacy legal by subbing 3x Strip Mines with 3 Wastelands. This is basically anti-8 rack, as it is a forcefeed varient. Youre best off going with 8-rack pox for modern my friend. Sorry, hope this helps!

Yes, it helped. Either way I like this deck. I wish modern magic would dabble in cards like this again. It would probably break the game, but it would be so fun to play haha.

I would just like to say that I love this deck, and appreciate how This deck has no land, a deck that I made as a joke ended up under your weaknesses section. To be fair, although the deck may be problematic against your deck before you sideboard, it almost never wins against other decks.

First post on this forum - I recently picked back up on MTG for the first time since I was 12 and playing without knowing the rules whatsoever. Ie my best friend and I thought that Leviathan was most powerful card ever having opened two starter Mirage decks. After picking back up on the game, I went rummaging through my parents attic praying that I somehow had some Power 9 from a trade or something. Clearly I did not.
Anyway, I found this deck by googling unbeatable MTG deck. First thing I thought of to compete with this deck was playing a Sphinx's Tutelage deck along with some cheap life gain spells like Blessed Alliance to stay alive until the graveyard fills up.
Thoughts? Trying to learn the game to recreate my lost youth.

MP1234 Hey there!
First of all- thank you for coming back to the game, it's people like you who keep the game alive!
I should start off by saying that the reason this deck has worked so well is my local meta. It has continued to beat decks around me and has gained quite a reputation, but for coming back into magic, I don't think it's the best deck to get you started. It's in a casual format, meaning that chances are there won't be many opportunities to play this at your local game store, and I can't guarantee the same success because you are playing against different decks.
You're right about the Sphinx's Tutelage and life gain, however while that may be very good against this specific deck, I don't play against it at all because a good deck needs to hold it's own against a variety of different decks, and usually won't be built to hose a target deck.
My best advice to you is to start with burn. If you are into any 60 card format, mono red burn decks are some of the fastest, cheapest and most fun to play. My personal choice is Play Me, Hate Me, Die. If you start off playing something like that, you'll be able to learn card rules, gain experience and move forward into building other decks. Hope this helps!!

Quick question, what is the point of yawgmoths tomb in this deck?

How do you deal with really fast decks, like manaless dredge, oops all spells, or even flash hulk (since your playing casual).
