Oh Sorry GreenFreak, i forgot to reply to your suggestion! thank goodness i picked it up now before i went over seas :)

I know allot of storm decks opt to use Thought Scour , however I've chosen to stray away form the path of putting my spells in my graveyard (the same reason why i chose Desperate Ravings over Faithless Looting ) however there that isn't to say that it isn't a good suggestion, its just in a different direction that this deck can decide to go.

hmm i think it needs further elaboration ... umm yea when building the deck i saw that Thought Scour as used, however i wanted to increase the over all hand size / draw power as opposed to going for a "fill the graveyard and cast spells from that" approach. and with that. I chose to go with stuff like the Desperate Ravings and so on. atm tho there is a 1 off spot in the deck (currently held by Empty the Warrens ) that im not sure about, id rather move that guy to the sideboard somehow and have a more combo enabling card in there.

this could quite possibly end up being thought scour tho =P

Awesome deck! I haven't actually play tested the deck much, but at first glance, would you consider Young Pyromancer or Guttersnipe in the sideboard? I don't play much modern, but I could see a matchup where some such resilient threat helps. +1 for a good storm deck though!

Can you do anything about an Eidolon of Rhetoric? You only have 1 card (Echoing Truth) in your sideboard that interacts with it, otherwise it just sort of wins. I think it's likely that if you play storm locally people will use this as hate/in competitive events if people want to beat storm they'll bring this.

Although I dislike storm as a deck, I like your attitude about it and respect your right to play it. More Echoing Truth or removal that can hit a 4 toughness guy would be useful for sure in countering that.

THAT CARD ... well the reason i stopped playing this deck at FNM is because EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER boarded Eidolon of Rhetoric against me haha. you can remove say... 2 Lightning Bolts! from the side and add some Flame Slash ... the Defense Grid might be ok to remove as well.. im not sure. but yea thats the only thing ive found to get rid of him effectively.

atm im playing grisslebrand reanimator at fnm if you were wondering what i dropped storm for haha.

Have you thought of Blistercoil Weird and Paradise Mantle ? adds mana and untaps for moaarrrr manaaaaa! I'm sure its all ready been suggested but thought if it hasn't it might be the final piece to the puzzle, +1 from me.

Yea, in fact when i went to build the deck for the first time that was the other option i was juggling up in the air, tho i cant remember the reasoning, i did end up putting it to the side, opting for the one you see here.
