TitanWalls Didn't know that was a card. It does seem worth a try, there does seem to be enough synergy.

Look at Hardened Scales and Champion of Lambholt for any +1/+1 mono green deck.
April 30, 2019 7:02 p.m.
Draladin I'll consider both of them, but the +1/+1 counters are a sub theme as I see it. They spawned out of coincidence in an effort to make a competitive aggro deck. So that being said both of those might be a bit slow, Hardened Scales in particular seems like it would be a bit clunky in the deck. As I said I'll think about both of them though. Thanks for the feedback.

Seems like an insanely lethal deck. As a burn player, those Dryad Militants have me shaking in my boots.

Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig looks like a really fun include. i thought of him in stompy instantly when i saw its printing.
also if you go non budget Hexdrinker could be a solid bomb that they must answer for you to dump your mana into when you dont have any creatures in hand.

ZorrosRage I thought about adding Hexdrinker in, I'm leaving it out for now though, I think the deck is pretty tight as it is.

I have my own version of this deck and I have cut the three drops besides Steel Leaf Champion and brought mine lower to the ground. Just wondering your reasons for the bigger creatures
September 27, 2019 6:48 p.m.
Bmw225 I added in more three cost creatures because I cut a good amount of the negative tempo cards, and the newest legendary three drop I felt needed to be included in this deck. Even though it's on the high end it's incredibly strong.

I would recommend wildborn preserver. There is only one human in the deck but with this you can flash early and afterwards late game it gets bigger. This would be best in the counter verse better though but maybe ok here Also would recommend Queasting beast but of course that makes this not a budget deck also maybe This would be good to i think The Great Henge

19 lands with 9 3 drops doesn't seem that optimal. A lot of times you'd be tapping out to play those 3 and even 2 drops leaving your board wide open without a Vines of Vastwood or Blossoming Defense type card for backup. Also, I think Rancor should probably be next on the chopping block for some amount of Dismember . You can find them at a reasonable cost nowadays. Just my two cents though. Keep stompy alive!

I use 4x Groundbreaker in my deck. I also am experimenting with Lead the Stampede . Once Upon a Time also seems super good in the deck because playing t1 Experiment One / Pelt Collector is super hard to beat.
November 14, 2019 6:23 p.m.
I also mainboard 4x Thrashing Brontodon although i'm not sure that is correct. Ensnaring Bridge is running around in a lot of decks. I realized if you are budget then unfortunately Once Upon a Time is not feasible which is ok. I don't think it makes the deck much better. I use Birds of Paradise as another mainboard Ensnaring Bridge hate card with Aspect of Hydra . Also 3 Yorvo seems kinda sketch. I think balloth can be an upgrade to yorvo in some cases as well. Treetop Village seems bad mainboard. You need your mana in the early turns and it will be too small late game to do a ton. I don't use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for the same reason.

Barkhide Troll is a better Kalonian Tusker, and could be a nice addition with sinergies with your Avatar of the Resolute, Experiment One, Pelt Collector, Scavenging Ooze, Strangleroot Geist and Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig.

I feel like most of the gains available with this list would be in planning sideboard tech- You already have powerful gy disruption maindeck, so knowing you also have meta adaptions to hate artifacts/combo/burn and which packages you can afford to run maindeck will offer a lot.

Goddamn how insane is it leatherback doesn't make the cut in a mono g aggro/stompy list
I feel old.
July 12, 2020 6:08 p.m.
honestly the decks very light on lands, id want at least 21-22 and you running a lot of three drops. personally i would drop 1 rhonas 1 yorvo and 1 eone for 3 more lands. if you want utility lands i would for a mana base like this id aldo run at least 1 Dismember (probably 2) as despite the improved removal mono g has seen its still the best option for those gurmag anglers and tasigur lurrus and now kroxa.
3 Hashep Oasis 1 Khalni Ambush Flip 1 Tranquil Thicket 2 Treetop Village 15 Forest
also if you added Syr Faren, the Hengehammer then id also run 2 Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers.

I would cut Rhonas the Indomitable for Lovestruck Beast or Stonecoil Serpent just to cut further down on budget. Rhonas is better in this deck for sure but ya know... $12 each

Have you thought about Dryad Sophisticate? It grows the evolved ones and helps push through damage against the majority of modern decks.
November 30, 2020 1:55 p.m.
I_Want_To_PlayAllTheDecks It's worth considering; I'll put it in the maybeboard.
December 1, 2020 4:24 p.m.
Is Dryad Militant’s ability necessary here? I would consider moving it to sideboard in case of some grave spell casting decks, but normally would play Nettle Sentinel, Young Wolf or Wasteland Viper. I have a similar deck - but mostly rely on instants than counters - and Boggart Ram-Gang plays very well. It is fast, costly to block due to wither and gives 3 devotion.
Also for counters Predator Ooze and Hydra's Growth would be a nice add on.

Since your deck is so focused on +1 counters, I would recommend Mutant's Prey over Prey Upon . It's conditional, but in my experience the instant speed is more than worth it for a +1-counter-centric deck.
