I love Stubborn Denial here, but I do also kinda like Dispel in that Denial only works (at least for the ferocious trigger) if one of your eight creatures are present and alive, where Dispel doesn't have a conditional clause. At worst, it's a really weak Spell Pierce. I'm mixed between the two myself; maybe run two of each and see what works? lol. Then let me know so I can make the change in my own deck. Honestly, I've had luck with Mizzium Skin because it can be used on offense if I need an extra pre-swing pump. It's not a counterspell, but hexproof and 0/+1 can save a creature from Doom Blade too, and has the upside of overload.

Yeah I know I've been considering it for a while but the offensive value's not very high. Good sideboard material though

let me help with that link, Flamekin Harbinger. I've always felt that this guy can help, but can never find the slots for it. I think the dude is great in your opening hand, but not really otherwise.

True as he can fetch a Kiln Fiend, but as you said, he's only good in your opener. I'll think about it.

Just an FYI, you cannot respond to his lands with a gut shot, as lands do not use the stack

I know you play it after then land, although I might need to make that clearer. Thanks!

what about a couple scry lands to help to a creature , you have no first turn drops , its more money in the deck but worth it , you could go with red black or blue green for being cheaper ones

I know, I don't like ebt lands in this case because if it's the only land your have to play on turn 2 or 3, you won't be able to win as quickly

PixelProMTG What are you going on about? Nobody was rude at all. I swear every time I read one of your retarded comments I think to myself that the poster must be under 10 years old. Chill out, this isn't your deck. So please, shut the fuck up.

Well it seems the price of the cards has gone up a bit the past week. Even though you shortened your sidedeck to just Mizzium Skin, it's still around $19.00 on TCG. Not sure what you could cut out/switch to lower the price.

That's only if you look at the tappedout thing it's wrong. If you click the checkout TCG box, it'll show you the real price at 12.42

I have a very similar deck, I use Ground Rift (note: storm does not trigger your creature's abilities multiple times) it's a great way to avoid defenders.
