Thanks for the suggestion! She is in line to replace Gather the Townsfolk I think.

Boros Asskicking s my take. It uses a lot more white and definitely silverblade, then shock trooper and thundermaw, plus hellrider.
You NEED champion of the parish.
Other than that, great deck. +1

Just made a few more number changes for efficiency and curve purposes. Also added Silverblade Paladin . Lightning Mauler into him was too good to pass up. Thanks for the suggestions and +1's guys!

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Frontline Medic are like a god send in tandem. card:Sphinx's Revelation, Entreat the Angels , and Bonfire of the Damned players are going to have a hell of a time with that one.

I dont see why there arent more Boros decks abusing the Aurelia, the Warleader and Angelic Skirmisher combo that seems to be a match made in heaven, I know they are expensive, but every deck should have something for those longer games xD

4of Silverblade Paladin seems too good to pass up. Frontline Medic , while great, isn't always useful in every match-up and doesn't really help in doubles. I think Boros Aggro still wants to lean on the gas over trying to play responses to their board. I would consider swapping those numbers.
Glaring Spotlight might be a local meta thing, but that seems like it's dedicating a full 1/5 of your sideboard to a rather narrow threat. For unblockable and sort of hexproof, I think Riders of Gavony would be a better include.
Gather the Townsfolk I'm just not a huge fan of this card personally without an anthem effect, though you have a bit more battalion mainboard that you want to get online. The approach I took was to try and just go for value in the slot with Ash Zealot . Maybe jam Boros Elite back in for a better chance of T1 play, which I think Boros Aggro really wants to have since it let's you have enough threats up and keep say Boros Charm ready to stop sweepers.

strateupjee In my opinion, because they are way off the game plan for Boros Aggro.
24 lands has less than a 32% chance of actually making a 6th land drop on Turn 6, on average you won't be casting either until Turn 8 (6/24 * 60 - 7 opening hand). The goal is to win well before that and you're not going to do that with dead cards in hand that you won't be able to cast until way after they'd be relevant to the game.

I will do some sideboard adjustments later. For now, the deck is starting to look really good.

I'm thinking I may be able to reduce the amount of lands in the deck considering the relatively low average CMC of the cards in the deck. Thoughts?

I say go for it, and since you are straight up even at 50/50 on your colors its easy =D

First off I like this deck. Second, I feel like the Skullcrack should be in mainboard in place of the Searing Spear . My reasoning is that in game 1 when your opponent doesn't really know what you're playing yet, you will want to hit as fast as possible so that damage would be wanting to go to the face. Then game 2 you might want to side in the spears to deal with creatures if they are troublesome. Other than that I think this deck is good, +1 from me.

Thanks. That's a really good idea considering I'm going to want to bash face as fast as possible in the first game. Life gain generally disrupts decks like this badly, so I think your suggestion is going to be used immediately. Thanks for the suggestion and the +1!

No problem, and again I really enjoy your decks and I think they would be fun to play.

Interesting. So I actually don't agree with that logic at all. Creatures on average deal much more damage than burn. Look at your board, nearly everything hits for around or more damage than 3 and it stick around to do it again next turn.
Game 1 you're not going to know what your opponent is playing, so why would you play the spell that is less flexible. Arguably you're much more likely to see another deck with blockers you want to remove than you are going to see decks running card:Sphinx's Revelation. It's not much different than you don't run Rest in Peace mainboard just because renanmiator can be a scary match-up.

That's probably true. I'm just really scared of life gain I guess lol. I play quite a few life gain decks IRL too so that was my main reasoning behind that, but now that I'm looking at it a little more, Searing Spear does do the exact same amount of damage and is a little more flexible. Thanks!

I approve of the reference to anchorman. Sex panther ftw.

I would consider removing the Boros Elite for 2x Reckless Waif Flip and maybe drop a Thalia, Guardian of Thraben for your 4th Frontline Medic . 3 Thalias is kinda pushing it with her being legendary.
Love the deck though, Boros FTW

that plus Silverblade Paladin = 12 points of lifegain, 12 points of trample damage for 4 mana.

I like the idea of Spark Trooper , but I'm not sure how I'd make room for him. Plus, he's a one and done, but my Hellrider has at the least the possibility of living to see another day. Thanks for the suggestion though, and I'll keep it in mind as the deck continues on it's journey of streamlining.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is a great card. Check out my deck, deck:palisade-protection. +1
