One card i'd definitely suggest is Eye of Ugin , helps you fetch Ulamog and get the other guys out. I would also suggest some Not of This World to help protect Ulamog once he's out. Great deck though, hopefully you can tweak it enough to start showing people Eldrazi are the decks to fear.

Right now this deck is built as a casual play. Are you trying to stay casual and have help for better cards or want to try and make it competitive?

Honestly I would suggest making some kind of ramp deck to get out your big eldrazi to scare your opponent. Then drop Phenax, God of Deception and just tap your big guys. Ways of giving them vigilance, Heliod, God of the Sun, or Brave the Sands means that you can attack with them; then mainphase 2 tap for the milling so that you become a double threat. Ingest can be a cool mechanic, but the problem is it doesn't matter how much damage you do to someone, it is only one card. Even if you ping someone (deal one damage at a time) it is only 20 cards. Ingest probably won't work for milling. Because with eldrazi you'd be doing 5 or more damage, but it is still one card, so you'd be killing your opponent WAY before you mill them. Hope this helps!

Also, I see that you have Mind Sculpt in your deck. Another card (0.50 cents more) is Breaking / Entering. It gets one extra card, and can also pull a creature from a graveyard. And if you decide to mil yourself you could pull one of your bigger eldrazi's for only 6 mana.

Yeah after new years I'm gonna buy some singles for this deck such as those two cards you mentioned I tried to put ramp in here and I couldn't get a good balance between ramp and mill so I put quick silver amulet in here and it's been doing the job

I haven't been a casual player in a long time, but I could see the colors of Sultai (Blue, Black Green) for this type of deck. Green is definitely the color for ramp (Rampant Growth, Farseek, Explosive Vegetation) where blue and black are your traditional mill. If you're willing to stray from the ingest mechanic I could probably give you some cards to look into to create an eldrazi ramp deck with the Eldrazi Scions (Cards like Eyeless Watcher, or Awakening Zone) that would be nice and cheap, but still be a decent deck to destroy your friends. You'd bring in the big guns and scare everyone, and to keep the mill back-up still have Phenax, God of Deception. Just a thought for you.

For ramp I'd suggest some array of cards like Eyeless Watcher, Rampant Growth, Awakening Zone, Nissa's Pilgrimage, Explosive Vegetation, and From Beyond.

For draw power cards like Divination, Compulsive Research, or cards that benefit from sacrificing creatures like Vampiric Rites or Altar's Reap.

I'd keep more green lands Forest to search for that you can ramp with. Most of those cards above allow for more than one basic lands so to keep the colors you need some sort of balance with Island and Swamp.

As for your eldrazis go I'd suggest trying to keep to the most powerful ones like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, especially because he stays with the mill theme, and exiles two things you don't like. Also I'd suggest maybe preordering the new Kozilek while it is low. That is the under the assumption he goes up because he gets played a lot in standard. I do like Artisan of Kozilek, Pathrazer of Ulamog, and It That Betrays as other eldrazis. Also look into Void Winnower. You'd be surprised how many cards and creatures are even. Unless of course you can afford the 3 original face smashers Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, and of course Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.

Lands that could help you search for your eldrazi would be Eye of Ugin, Sanctum of Ugin, and possibly lands that help you draw (Remember that Eye of Ugin does NOT produce mana. Unless you also play something like Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth).

Of course keeping Phenax, God of Deception as the backup mill when your eldrazi's can't work for whatever reason.

Looks a little more consistent to get your big stuff. Have you playtested it yet?

I would say add in some cards like Whisperer of the Wilds, to cast your fatties if you can't use something like Quicksilver Amulet. I always recommend Endless One with eldrazi decks, simply because they fit whatever stage of the game you are at, they can be used as early blockers, ore late game 10+/10+'s

PhI think I need to add in more mana fixing not necessarily ramp with the play testing I've done but more has to be done

Xa What would you suggest I swap out for whisperer

December 18, 2015 7:12 p.m.

frogkill45 says... #22

If your trying to go modern... need to make it more consistent. 3-4 of good cards.

I just toss some cards i like in:

Horribly Awry in modern it hits pretty much every creature that sees play.

Complete Disregard exiles pretty much every creature that sees play in modern at 2-3 cmc

Eye of Ugin $expensive$ but useful depending on how much colorless you run.

Relic of Progenitus keeps gy's empty, basically makes snapcaster useless, and it can feed cards like Wasteland Strangler , Blight Herder, Ulamog's Nullifier

Bojuka Bog same as above

Duress , Despise , Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek :pretty much hand destruction
