I wanted to build a quirky aggro deck (that doesn't break the bank quite as much) so i decided to go with goblins. The online MTG game shows promising results with this deck, which makes me think that the post eldrazi meta will have similar results, albeit with a few changes of course.
The one you see here is the basic 8-Whack deck, containing the namesakes Goblin Bushwhacker and Reckless Bushwhacker. Both are turn three playable if the right board state is assembled, turn four lethal is just as likely.
Goblin Guide is here because I had the resources to trace for them, but they are not necessary to play the deck. Legion Loyalist however, is due to the battalion trigger. Those will ensure a high amount of pressure within the first 4-5 turns of a match. Goblin Grenade and Lightning Bolt give you a way to punch through for lethal, and Goblin Fanatic gives you reach and ways to remove pesky toolbox creatures your opponent may be using.
Without the guides, this will cost you 60-80 dollars to build, with half pretty much being dumped into loyalists. However when I get the required resources, I will be splashing green for Atarka's Command mainboard and Destructive Revelry in sideboard. Those will give me plenty of toolbox options, and a better set up against life-gainy decks.
I've no clue how to play against Pyroclasm effects other than swinging for fence so ideas to help combat that will make this a better deck.
I've ALSO no clue how to do the primer stuff on this site, but I'd like to, simply because I've yet to see a primer for this deck.
In any case I'll be playing this at my lgss' and updating the results so... +1 if you think this has a shot at modern :p
