This. Is. AWESOME!! I'm not much of a combo player, but this I like. I'll be adding a Coalhauler and a few of these others to my next singles order.

Thanks :) I'm really enjoying these janky wincons or just sitting there with an indestructible pariah creature that has shroud/hexproof

I can't help but think you could boost those wincons by having more indestructible. I personally would add , Nahiri's Machinations, Eldrazi Monument, and Odric, Lunarch Marshal other Sutable cards that grant indestructible would be Aegis Angel. Ajani's Presence Archangel Avacyn  Flip Deathless Angel, Make a Stand, Rootborn Defenses, Selfless Spirit, Spirit Bonds, or Survive the Night

This deck might be a good candidate for Enduring Renewal as it is Gift of Immortality on steroids. It works as recursion for your spite creatures and other creatures that take damage in your place, Then Sun Titan, Reveillark, Emeria Shepherd, Karmic Guide all mitigate the can't draw in to creatures downside while Reveillark, and Karmic Guide bounce back to your hand while on recursion Reya Dawnbringer seems like a nice fit.

Thanks for the suggestions! I thought about more indstructible too. Avacyn seems like the best choice here. Either old Avacyn or the new one becauce of flash. The rest seems too situational. The momnument kills my creatures if ther is only one and odric needs another indestructible to be relevant.

Enduring Renewal is interesting... Though showing my hand feels like a big downside. Takes every bit of surprise moment away when they see my Arcbond or other combo pieces... I'll give it some thought.

While Reya is a powerful card, I don't think she is worth the amount of mana she costs for this deck. Old Avacyn seems better to prevent destruction in the first place :)Thanks again for the input!

Sweet creation, I love it!! Got some ideas.... not sure what to cut or anything, plus your deck is rad already, but i got a few card suggestions too ;)

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx & Expedition Map seem like they could be quite good. Maybe Urza's Rage or Insult / Injury could do some work too. Maybe Lightmine Field for more protection plus another way to damage creatures. Charmbreaker Devils for more recursion.

Happy gathering!

Thank you Rzepkanut for sharing your ideas with me.

The devotion I usually get is not enough to run Nykthos I believe. Urza's Rage seems to expensive and a single target burn doesn't fit in the deck. We have to burn it all >:D

Insult/Injury is a one time thing and might be a bad choice though I'll give it some thought...

Prison cards like Lightmine field are rarely necessary, since nobody attacks into an indestructible blocker, unless they have a big trampler or fly over it. So quite often Tajic is the best Ghostly PrisonI could hope for :)

The devils might be better than I think atm... A Swords to Plowshares every turn does seem fun ;)

Also the map, a worthy inclusion for a land if I get one!

Personally I'm a huge fan of the Miojins and Worldslayer. With Tajic they feel like natural fits.

@Lord_Monochrome: I know what you're saying. Worldslayer is a natural fit for Tajic, but with this deck I try to avoid attacking as much as possible. Exceptions are made for planeswalkers or killing an opponent. The Myojins are too expensive to cast for my taste and not all that great for the cost to be honest. Appreciate the input though :)

If Speed is a concern maybe put in a weathered wayfarer or a Land Tax . I've found in Boros decks those cards and rocks have kept me afloat.

@Lord_Monochrome: I will put Land Tax in. Too good not to play it in a white deck. I've just been focusing on the combos first and now I'm finetuning the deck to make it better. Not sure about the wayfarer though he seems too fragile for this deck. But fetching any land is useful... We'll see.

Thanks for the suggestion :)

Have you considered Repercussion? If you have only one or two creatures out, it makes mass damage dealers like Blasphemous Act lethal to everyone but you. Plus, Pariah or Pariah's Shield + indestructible Boros Reckoner-like creature is an infinite combo.

LOVE the deck and the theme is on point. The combo is cute and embodies the reason why commander is so fun. Good job +1

Avacyn, Angel of Hope would work grat in here

Oeselbroesel yes Odric, Lunarch Marshal needs another indistructable dude to work but you should be able to get that from Tajic, Blade of the Legion fairly easily. I highlighted Nahiri's Machinations because it also gives you another way ping your spite creatures if needed.

@PhotogenicParasympathetic: Yes, Repercussion came to my mind while building this. Strong card, but a double-edged sword. Only in combination with Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction good, otherwise I couldn't play it, because that would mean my opponents can deal me damage despite my indestructible blocker. It's tricky.

@SpiritoftheSands: Absolutely! She fits in there I just have to find the right spot Until now the deck has been somewhat budget friendly, but I think I have to invest in this entertaining deck :)

@squirlfood: I do see what you mean. Odric has the requirement of combat though, which means I can't rely on his ability in the precombat main phase. He is an amazing general himself, but I don't think he'd pull his weight in this deck. Nahiri's Machinations also needs combat to be viable. Not sure if I can generalize this, but in my current meta I don't get attacked as much once I have Tajic out. No use in attacking an indestructible blocker. So they focus on the faster player first. The damage ping requires me blocking, which I probably won't if the redirector isn't indestructible. And if it is they don't attack ;)

Thanks for the love and suggestions :)

Surprised to not see Shield of Kaldra. Costlier than Darksteel Plate, but otherwise exactly the same, and no hard-to-pay drawbacks like Eldrazi Monument has.

Oeselbroesel says... #22

@mortilus: Yes, Shield of Kaldra and Darksteel Plate have basiclly the exact same effect, but the higher casting and equiping cost is in total 3 mana more, which is a lot for the same thing. At the moment there are 4 tutors that can get me the Darksteel Plate if I need it. Adding an Stoneforge Mystic would increase the chances of getting any missing piece even further. Which I might very well do :)

The shield might be an alternative for some players that want to keep the deck as cheap as possible. In a playgroup that plays more slow decks the higher cost doesn't stand out as much.

Nontheless thank you for your suggestion :) I appreciate it.

Haha, nice. I was making a deck that did some similar things, but mine added blue. I never finished it, but I kept a running list of combos in the description (if you have the patience to scroll past the endless maybeboard). You can find it here: dirty skid. You might find the combo list interesting.

Nice deck+1! Glarecaster ofcourse this guy is mana heavy but it can fit well in your deck main strategy ;-P
