I have thought of another thing you may want to try the en-Kor creatures Lancers en-Kor, Nomads en-Kor, Outrider en-Kor, Shaman en-Kor, Spirit en-Kor, or Warrior en-Kor. They give more damage sponges to redirect damage to your spite creatures, or if your don't have any of them in play your general. and as an added bonus Shaman en-Kor will also pull damage off of something else just to sink it where you want it anyway. Furthermore if you have a damage increase you can loop damge between them and your spite creatures till it is lethal.

Furthermore where is your Furnace of Rath or Inquisitor's Flail?

So i'll give the obligatory +1 for the fun and odd Boros build. But I gotta say, I feel like you just really want Ruric Thar, the Unbowed to be

Due to being in boros, you need all the draw you can get, If you run Invasion Plans and Infiltration Lens it becomes an insane draw engine (multiple creatures blocking the equipped creature causes that many triggers), And if the budget allows, I would suggest using Scroll Rack

@Mal_Mutation: The Coalhauler Swine was one of the cards that started this combo deck, so it's really more of a pet card of mine. Might not be in there for ever if I have to make this deck more resilient.
@AlmightyTentacle: Glarecaster does seem like a great fit, but as you said he is very mana heavy. If WotC ever prints something cheaper I'll take it.
@squirlfood: Thank you! Shaman en-Kor is a fantastic card I'll definitely include! To redirect any damage dealt to a creature gives you the chance to save other peoples creatures and play the political game that makes EDH so fun! Inquisitor's Flail is combat damage only though and I don't see a lot of that. Damage doublers like Furnace of Rath a quite the double edged sword. If I have proper protection it's all good, but if not they make you a target in order to remove the card.
@PurePazaak: Hell yeah, that would be amazing. If they ever print an suitable general in RWG Ruric Thar, the Unbowed is the first card to go into the deck! Too bad we just got a Naya general that doesn't help this deck...
@LeoSushi: I see your point very nice combo, but I really try to avoid combat as much as possible with this deck and so far it has been a good strategy! Scroll Rack will find a place in there, just not sure yet where.
Thank you all for the suggestions!

If you don't have to attack it isn't better to use Archangel Avacyn Flip as the commander? It gives temporary indestructible and if she flips deals damage to everyone.

Find a way to put a loxodon warhammer in there and your colanic hellion and stonehewer giant combo would be an almost definite win

What about Archangel Avacyn Flip as the general? Having her on standby to pay 5 for an indestructible trigger isn't bad, and if you can flip her and deal 3 damage to all creatures you could combo off that?

marshall26 Loxodon Warhammer would not work with Volcano Hellion unless assisted by Sigarda's Aid however True Conviction most certainly would.

Naturally I'd return the upvote for this deck. Love that it has some of the same spells I enjoy using in Boros...especially Volcano Hellion. That card is beyond hilarious. Same with Martyrdom. Underrated and underplayed, but in the right deck they are downright incredible plays. Didn't feel like adding in a Radiate for even more shenanigans?

Looking at this list again I have 3 more recommendations. First off there are enough Low cost instants that Isochron Scepter might be worth a try. Also Brass Squire or Auriok Windwalker might also help with instant speed equp.

Very interesting! I have come around your deck for a few times but it still inspires me. I have a boros deck which strongly resembles this one, but with Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Oddly enough I cannot suggest anything I play with Gisela because of these generals their differences (repercussion for example becomes a serious win-con without much drawback anymore and the same applies for Chandra's Ignition as well), but that 4 mana indestructible makes everything so much safer and quicker to play. I look forward to your new experiences with tajic!

@squirlfood: Instant equipping is mostly needed for the Volcano Hellion to give me a billion life on ETB, which mostly just buys me a lot of time. For the damage redirectors I usually have enough time to set up.
@AkaAkuma: Gisela makes you a target, while targeting Tajic doesn't do that much. I guess that's a personal preference. A big fan of safe and resilient decks ;) -Thank you for your interest in my deck!

+1 for being creative. 2 suggestions: Spirit of the Labyrinth bring opponents to your colors restrictions, 1 card a turn. Double that blood moon with Magus of the Moon.

This makes me obscenely happy. Keep up the jank work my friend!
My only suggestions would be card advantage - Seer's Sundial could be nice here. Always tough in Boros to keep up after you play out your initial draw, just some thoughts!

Aurification is strong with War's Toll. Stranglehold is anti blue and anti tutor something this deck could work with.

How would you gain any life with Volcano Hellion and Stonehewer Giant tutoring for Basilisk Collar? The damage wouldn't get prevented would it? Lifelink states that whenever it deals damage you gain that much life, so first you'd lose the life equal to the total damage then gain it right back? Or is there some rule I'm not aware of?
