Thank you very much ItsReshiram. I am brewing this deck the last 2 weeks and just ordered all the spare cards I need. I really want to test it in real! In the playtest I constantly can win in turn 5 and often even faster.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it! I put a lot work to evaluate every single card I use in my deck! :)

How about Thunderous Wrath or Ball Lightning?

I think Ball Lightning is just to slow for this kind of deck. I really want to keep my mana curve as low as I can and I don't want to spend 3 mana for a maximum of 6 damage. It can be so much commitment for this CMC and a tiny removal kills it :(
And Thunderous Wrath looks good on paper. But I think its downside are huge. Even if you only run 1 in your deck. The odds to have it in your opening hand is 11.7%! Check out this. I have only 1 time Molten Vortex in my Deck and the odds are really "big" to get it in your opening hand. It's like every tenth game. Sure it is awesome to draw it but the chances that you have it in your opening hand are pretty high and you can't use this card because it cost 6 mana and then you are forced to mulligan. The key I want to achieve is "consistency" and this card won't help there.
But thank you very much for your help AndWelcomeToTheJam :-)

My Defiant Fiends is comparable. I like your build though! Thunderous Wrath and Bonfire of the Damned are incredible in burn (as long as you don't draw them first hand cuz they just sit there.)

RandyRanderson I think that "miracle"-spells are just too unreliable. I want to win in turn 5 or even earlier and can't affford 6 Mana for a Thunderous Wrath. It will just not work :P but thank you very much for your help!

The reason why Wrath is played in burn is that there really isn't a "godhand." All you need is 2 lands and just about any other cards, because they all effectively do the same thing. There's no combo, no specific order in which you need to play things. So if you draw the one-of Wrath, a mulligan won't really affect you all that much, because your "ideal" starting hand is pretty much any playable hand without Wrath in it.

AndWelcomeToTheJam but it's hard to cast it when it's in your hand(dead card). I don't really want to get to turn 6 and 6 lands to cast it. You can usually win faster than turn 6 with this deck.

You don't leave it in your hand. You immediately cast it when you draw it. It's not a spell meant for you to save for a particular time.

You realize that you can take half their life by Turn 2, right? You aren't even running the high budget cards and this deck can still win easily be Turn 3. If you hit Turn 6 for some reason, your opponent gained enough life somehow to stabilize, and you probably already lost because they can run you through at that point. That's just how Burn runs. The higher-budget cards are mostly just used for consistency and fixing.

First of all I know its great if you draw it and cast it but if you don't start the game, you have to draw before u can place a land and then you can't pay for miracle if you draw it. But I mean the chance you have this card in your opening hand is just too high. I wouldn't risk that. And i know that there are much better cards out there like Goblin Guide or Vexing Devil but this is just a budget deck for me and not a competetive tier 1 burn deck :P

Really awesome burn deck but just wondering would the deck be better if a Lightning Berserker was in there?

You have to test it extensively blarbybear. Lightning Berserker is currently only played in standard. I am not really into standard but it seems that dash is really good versus sorcercy speed removal and in modern you can just remove most creatures with cards like Path to Exile or other instant speed removal. You definitely could exchange one Spark Elemental with it but I'm not sure if it could work. Just try it out on your own. It could work. But keep in mind that if you exchange it for a Spark Elemental is that you have to spend to achieve the same effect that the Element does for . Sure it got other benefits that you can attack more than one time but on the other side it just dies to a 1/1 drop and doesn't got trample to get damage through it. My advice is just to try it and see if it works.

Just tried your deck out with a friend guess the Spark Elemental was better, Lightning Berserker died, it died fast =)
