Dragon's Maze will have the spell
Dragonshift
: Instant Target creature you control becomes a 4/4 Dragon with flying until end of turn. Overload... This fits perfectly with the theme of this deck and means there may be some major restructuring to the deck. Initial thoughts are to add green ramp creatures and some recycling cards to get the combo in place faster and keep it going.
Initial idea: Use baby dragons and descendant's paths to cheat in very scary monsters.
I was thinking about Descendants' Path and how to make a deck around it. Clearly, it needs to focus on a creature type with a wide range of CMC. Dragons and angels came to mind, but dragons won on the basis of there being 8 1 or 2 drops available.
Added blue, removed Black specifically for Index to remove some of the randomness in the draw and for Call to the Kindred.
In playing this deck the ideal is to get a quick drop dragon and Descendants' Path into play established. That will allow you additional drawing power with the ability to drop large threats without spending mana. This is important as it lets you remain untapped and able to Counterflux most threats. The build is not perfected yet, but the addition of blue certainly helps. Suggestions to fine tune this deck would be appreciated.

I'm not sure of a sideboard yet. This is a difficult deck for me to create a sideboard right now. The pieces that are in place are pretty important to get the right combos to come into play. Here's what I got so far:
Pithing Needle for planeswalkers...
Rolling Temblor
for aggro deck (sub out Counterflux)
Negate for burn heavy decks or decks sporting a ton of wrath/creature removal...
I'm not very good at seeing the matchups and when/where to make a sideboard swap, I don't get to actually playtest as much as I'd like so help/advice with these aspects would help tremendously with sideboard development and play. Thanks again!
2nd Update 4-10-13
considering Counterflux versus
Increasing Savagery
in the main, this give me an alternative way to wake up a Slumbering Dragon, although I really like having that counterspell... thoughts?
Adding Hellkite Tyrant to the sideboard... in case I want to steal artifacts? Lol IDK ;-p
Thanks for all of the great suggestions! Please keep them coming as the deck evolves.

dropped Hellkite Tyrant from the sideboard (that was always a joke), added

Witchbane Orb
, and Grafdigger's Cage
Possibility Storm in Dragon's Maze might be a nice addition to this deck...
The deck seems to be going in too many directions as it is currently configured and the big drop dragons have become too diluted out. The mechanism that drives it doesn't work as well as a simple all out ramp...
I'm loathe to lose the mana fixing that farseek provides and reducing lands almost guarantees that I'd never be able to hardcast the higher CMC dragons, but maybe the the point with this deck is to not have to do that. Reducing land also requires replacing Counterflux with a more easily cast counterspell. Since I'm more worried about removal of my dragons...
