Maybeboard

This deck should not be taken seriously. It's merely the result of a very dumb idea I had for making a deck themed around regular old playing cards. I did my best to make it at least a little playable (and I guess it sort of works as a token deck? IDK), but I don't really care about the viability tbh - just wanted to see if I could even make this work.

Card List:

SPADES - Black

HEARTS - Red

CLUBS - Green

DIAMONDS - White

JOKERS - Colorless

OTHER

For explanations of why I chose the cards I did:

Colors-wise: Black and Red because... duh. Green & White 'cause the symbols sorta look like Clubs and Diamonds, respectively.

Aces are 1-drops. Additionally, they all have a 1 in their rules text.

Twos all have abilities that can only activate if you have 2 or more permanents of a matching color.

Threes and Fours have a CMC matching their number.

Fives all look at the top five cards of your deck.

Sixes have 6 in their rules text.

Sevens have Threshold (or; you need seven cards in the graveyard).

Eights have an 8 mana tap ability.

Nines are from the lucky charm cycle used from Ninth edition onwards.

Tens are creature lands from Tenth edition.

Jacks, Queens, and Kings have "Lord", "Queen", and "King" in their names, respectively.

Jokers are... well, just colorless cards I thought would sorta work well with the other cards? And they both kinda fit the "Wild Card" aspect of Jokers, so... eh.

And the extras are just there so any madman who tries playing this deck can avoid getting mana starved.

If you've got a few million dollars lying around, then I recommend swapping out the Nines for Mox Jet, Mox Ruby, Mox Emerald, and Mox Pearl. Not only does this drastically improve the quality of the deck (I mean, it's still a terrible deck, but they at least make it almost viable), but in my opinion it fits much better thematically (get it? 'cause... 'cause they're part of the Power Nine). You could also swap the Threes for the appropriately colored Boons (thankfully, this deck doesn't have Blue, so no need for Ancestral Recall), though personally I think the current 3-drops work a little better with the deck.
