Nevermind, yes on the blood crypts, duh I wasn't paying attention lol

The fetchlands are the most important though, you only need 1 blood crypt I think, since you're just splashing a 1 cost red.

Lol all good friend. Would it be better to dump two fetches for crypt or swap out a watery grave and a breeding ground?

Ok so ill swap out a fetch for it, I like it, ok let me do my reworks. Thank you friend

Keep the fetches, swap out the shocklands. Fetches are so important for keeping your mana steady. The more fetches you have the less dead lands you'll draw. Every spot that a fetchland takes is one less opportunity for you to draw into way too many lands.

I thought about that so I took out two breeding pools for a crypt and Ghost Quarter. I wasn't sure about 4 colors but I think with the fetches I will have a lot of early options

Lol im honestly wondering what your semipro friend would say about this thing

March 2, 2017 11:12 a.m.

Yeah I think you have enough fetches that you can make it work, plus you only ever need 1 red. You should get some Verdant Catacombs in there too, that'll only help with the mana fixing. -1 Overgrown Tomb, -1 Watery Grave, -1 Llanowar Wastes for 3 Catacombs. The more ways you can find swamps, the better.

Another good idea.

We're playing Magic tonight, I'll ask him. He's helped me so much with my 2 decks, they're way more consistent now. As long as you can win on turn 4 you have something that can compete, after that it just takes playing in a competitive setting to find out what else you need.

March 2, 2017 11:21 a.m.

Yeah as soon as I can orderthe deck ill be going to as many tourneys as I can. And that sounds good, thank you for all your input you've been a huge help!

March 2, 2017 11:24 a.m.

Yeah man happy to help!

March 2, 2017 11:27 a.m.

And just let me know what your friend says. Time to hop on xmage and run some playtests!

Game over consistently turn 5 or 6, dumping out blue gonna go Jund for extra damage.

March 2, 2017 noon

Exactly what I was thinking you do, scrap those snaps for fatal push. Its not the end of the world if you win on 5 or 6 but you should goldfish win by turn 4. My deck is midrange too, its more about not letting the other person win on turn 4 than actually winning yourself, you just want to keep killing their stuff and disrupting their hand until you can get your Griselbrand out.

Pithing Needle by the way, is a lifesaver! Amazing sideboard card.

March 2, 2017 12:13 p.m.

Yeah im going terminates, lightning bolts, the typical Jund package along with gris package. I'll post the rework then you tell me what you think.

March 2, 2017 12:36 p.m.

And done

March 2, 2017 12:48 p.m.

Looking much better now, just make sure you have enough 1 drops. You don't want to be stuck without the ability to play something on the first turn. You only have 9, which isn't the end of the world, as long as you have one 1-drop in your hand every game (or at least the majority), you're golden.

March 2, 2017 1:39 p.m.

Yeah I'm still considering main board options on my one drops. Just need to play test more to build consistency.

March 2, 2017 2:10 p.m.

Don't really like this option but -1 flayer, -1 goyf, -1 collective brutality for +3 fatal push?

March 2, 2017 2:18 p.m.

I would say minus 2 flayers and minus 1 brutality. Goyf is gonna be the all star here and he is always at least slightly better than the flayer.

March 2, 2017 2:26 p.m.

That's very true, goyf gets big fast with all my discarding lol
