Aerokid Thanks for the suggestions, and i'm aware of the Favored Hoplite t3 win, but i thought i had too many one drops so i dropped them for Precinct Captain

I really agree with Chosen by Heliod typically outclassing Ordeal of Heliod . But my similar deck runs out of cards pretty quickly and also has at least 2 other sources of lifegain, maybe more depending on the exact configuration. (Don't have it on tapped out.) So mileage may vary.

deathtouch_roadrunner I ran this for the first time at fnm tonight, and personally i thought Ordeal of Heliod was an alllstar. It saved me in a couple games on it's on.

I have the same problem against burn decks unless I can really get rolling fast. I missed last nights FNM which was a bummer, was just too tired. Nice job.

Maybe Fencing Ace for another good place to put enchantments?

with running so many Ordeals and things, I'm surprised you aren't running any Favored Hoplite

i heard you were looking for graveyard hate, well look no further. the one, the only Rest in Peace is here to help. sideboard this and watch as your opponents scoop one after the other to your hatred! have no fear! the power of PEACE is here!
November 9, 2013 12:13 p.m.
I don't think you need Dryad Militant 's body, and with Flashback gone, Rest in Peace is a better card. Maybe Sundering Growth for enchantment hate? Cheapest thing in standard in your colors.

raithe000 Yes, the only reason i'm not running Rest in Peace is because i don't own it i'm going to get a couple soon. For now i'm going to run the dryad.

I would suggest Glare of Heresy in the sideboard. Takes care of Elspeth, Sun's Champion damn quick.
November 13, 2013 5:48 p.m.
Hey! Thanks for the suggestion! I'll certainly be adding Ajani, Caller of the Pride as soon as I can get my hands on a couple of them. I like your build--I'll certainly toss in another Brave the Elements --I didn't even consider the offensive capabilities of it. I'm intrigued by the addition of Gift of Orzhova , as well as by Fiendslayer Paladin being in sideboard... a particular reason for that? I think I will sideboard Banisher Priest for Fabled Hero , at least in part, as well.
Thanks again!

Aldazar Thanks! Also Fiendslayer Paladin is sideboarded in place of fabled hero in a game i'm playing red and keep getting shocked and or black removal. Plus, it gives me more lifegain. It's an all around great card in my opinion.

Aldazar in other cases i believe Fabled Hero is better, he ends games singlehandedly for me.

I know that Sundering Growth was suggested, but Wear / Tear would be your go to card enchantment destruction.
November 14, 2013 12:36 a.m.
yeah but could it stop.. ehh nvm I dont want to post my deck on your page cause then it would look like that's all I went here for. anyway..
-1 phalanx leader +1 precinct captain.
T2 precinct, T3 gift, = you're going to do well.

How often have you had to self-nuke your enchants with a Brave the Elements ?

deathtouch_roadrunner luckily i havent had the misfortune of having to do that yet, i'm one of the few running white at my FNM.

deathtouch_roadrunner although i did have to nuke a couple Gift of Orzhova once, but it won me the game doing so.
November 18, 2013 7:50 p.m.
This isn't the one I was going to post earlier but I'm interested to see how these two would pair up.
November 18, 2013 7:51 p.m.
slytherclawed nice point. I never thought about how brave the elements can nuke all the enchantments if you name the color of the enchantment..

I'm going to point out that you can also pull a T3 win with Favored Hoplite because of his heroic triggers. My deck is blitzy though, so always having a T1 is important.
Also I found that Ordeal of Heliod was useful for ridiculous lifegain, but after it's gone, it doesn't do anything. There have been a few games where I jumped up to 40 life but then my creature got killed, and I didn't have anything in hand. I replaced it with Chosen by Heliod for extra draw power, heroic triggers, and buffing Ethereal Armor more permanently.
Another personal preference of mine is Gods Willing rather than Brave the Elements . It doesn't protect against red wipes, but I usually voltron up one creature anyway so it doesn't matter. This seems to be a more swarmy deck though, so Brave is probably the better choice.
