Damn - forgot Blind Obedience might be a play as well for the slowing down blockers for a turn.

Wainwright Thank you! And i originally ran Pacifism in the sideboard but i foud that Celestial Flare and Brave the Elements did the job well enough. Also yes, hopeful eidolon does count as an enchantment while it's a creature.

How do you fare against UW control? If you can't secure a win by T4, how do you handle Supreme Verdict ? And with bounces wrecking havoc with enchantments... what's the plan?

foxesforsale Honestly, i havent had an issue with control. I've only been supreme verdicted once, and i picked up quick enough to get the kill the next turn. Do you have any specific suggestions to fight it, because i don't see one to fight board wipes.

I can only think of sideboarding Rootborn Defenses but I'm not sure what I'd remove from yours. It looks pretty steady!

Agree with foxesforsale, it's tough to know what to take out of your sideboard but personally I think Rootborn Defenses has to go into it.
Depends on your local meta of course - but where I play it's nearly 50% Esper or USA control, that would be enough to warrant me having it in the sideboard.

I'd make room for Rootborn Defenses and Last Breath in your SB. Why do you run Dryad Militant .

Wainwright foxesforsale honestly, with my local meta i don't think it's necessary. I only know of one person playing esper control at my local meta, it's mainly more aggro here, and i think i'm pretty set for that. But, if i say a change in that i'll definitely sideboard in Rootborn Defenses over Rest in Peace (which is currently Dryad Militant because i don't have them right now)

Matsi883 currently that is just a slot in place of Rest in Peace as there are enough graveyard centered decks in my meta to render it a slot, and i don't own the rest in peace yet. And i definitely don't think i need to run Last Breath if i'm running Banisher Priest

What about Guildscorn Ward ?
PS. LOVE the DW references! I applaud you, good sir.

mahouneko Unfortunately it doesnt work like that, Supreme Verdict doesnt actually target any creature so protection doesnt help. (i figured that out when i tried to cast Brave the Elements for protection from blue in response to a Supreme Verdict and was corrected)

I love your title and reference. I also love the deck. Good job sir.

Good stuff! I personally don't like monowhite in this current format, but kudos for coming up with a strong build. I'm currently running the UW counterpart of Heroic-focused aggro.

Also, consider Murder Investigation ! It's amazing with the Armor and seriously helps you against things like Verdict and Devour Flesh .

Still loving this deck. You said to let you know once I finished mine so here it is. True Heroes are Enchanting
Let me know what you think and anything you think would improve it.

Really like the deck; I was going to put together a U/W deck, but this may have persuaded me otherwise, especially as difficult to run a creature build (even if it's small) and Supreme Verdict .
Just a quick question: IN your turn 3 description; does Hopeful Eidolon still count as an enchantment when it's actually a creature - in terms of calculating the boost given by Ethereal Armor . If that really is the case then that's very cool indeed.
Not much I could add to this - but Pacifism springs to mind, as cheap way to get possible blockers out of your way. Your aim isn't worrying so much about damage being taken, so you don't need removal (and you don't include much rightly), but getting stuff out of your way when you swing - could be useful.
Elspeth might be worth a one drop in the deck - I read your FNM where a midrange dumped bigger creatures on the board; she'd reset the balance quite nicely for you.
Great Dr Who referencing too.
