sorry for the double post but I realized that didn't work withthe current nooze combo, lol

Indeed. Just did my first tourny with it. Turn 4 the first match through a counterspell. I finished the winners pod before the other team started. Opened with land, crypt, ring, vault chain and scourge. My opponents were not happy to say the least.

I'm sure you're working on adding it to the primer but I'm curious as to what your Hulk chain is? Just picked one up to test out in my Sidisi Food Chain list and so far I can only figure out a chain that requires casting Food Chain after tutoring for it during the Hulk chain

invigorate_berserk10 Nah its actually a hermit druid line solved by monkeryz. The pile is Deathrite Shaman, Mogis's Marauder and Hermit Druid. which allows us to activate hermit druid for free as soon as he comes into play then dread return flashback nooze for the win.

Love the combos! I have a budget Mimeoplasm deck that is similar to this deck somewhat. You should add Disciple of the Ring, once you mill your deck with Necrotic Ooze on the battlefield you can basically counter everything for per spell. If they pay to stop you, keep countering it until they can't. Another fun one is milling the entire deck then picking it up with Praetor's Counsel then using Skirge Familiar to add an obscene ammpunt of then Death Cloud! Check out my deck when you have a sec.

Lilbrudder I'm assuming Deathrite Shaman in the pile strictly for the colored mana to activate HD?
Also have you considered Tidespout Tyrant? He would go with the Food Chain line. You Dread Return Eternal Witness but get back Tidespout instead and then use your Eternal Scourge to bounce everyone's boards and use E-Wit as many times as you'd like until you finally decided to get back Ballista and kill everyone while their boards are empty

invigorate_berserk10: Deathrite shaman provides a black mana symbol and the mana to activate hermit druids ability. Without both deathrite and marauder you can give haste to both the dork and HD. I did use tidespout in the past but he does not do enough as an 8 drop in this list.
Squirrel_of_War: Thank's man! Those are some cool cards, but they are a bit too fat for this list.

Lilbrudder hmm that's actually a pretty cool way to use Hulk to win. Definitely the most streamlined pile I've seen since it only requires one Hulk trigger rather than chaining multiples with stuff like Body Double or Phyrexian Delver

Yeah I was pretty psyched about it when I was informed how it worked. It fits very nicely within the shell and requires a very minimal card slot investment.

Is there a budget version or could there be a budget version of this deck? This seems absolutely amazing to play and I would love to make it without any proxies

1337_Nerd: Thanks bud! SBT is a great choice to pilot. I have not made a budget list, however, Voidia (AKA the original gangster of SBT), has made a budget version of his brew. We agree on most card choices and my next revision will get me closer to his build than I currently am. His budget brew would be a great starting point and then you can add the big money cards down the road.

Daedalus19876's lists are very good, they just are quite different from how this particular deck plays.

Carpet of flowers seems somewhat situational. Has it proved to be enough in testing?
Also, why Blighted Bat?
May 21, 2017 10:12 p.m.
Blighted bat is there to give necrotic ooze haste.
Seems like a solid list when goldfishing, gonna see if I can try it out this week.

I'd be lying if I said I initially clicked on the deck for any reason other than the a7x reference.
Happy I did, though. Terrifying deck. +1

I've made a terrible mistake, identifying a Metallica lyric as an A7X one... my sincerest apologies

What would your suggestions be if you were going to go budget? Obviously cut the Bazaar, lol.

What're your thoughts on Extract? I know you're only running Eternal Scourge but it acts as a tutor for it as well as providing proactive hate against other decks (hitting Paradox Engine, Isochron Scepter, Laboratory Maniac, etc...) plus being a one-drop spell is super useful.

Pheardemons: Carpet of flowers is one of the most broken cards in cEDH. It is an auto-include if you play green in cEDH pods due to the high concentration of blue decks. With that being said, it is a situational card at most commander nights given that people are more focused on fun decks and there are far fewer decks that consistently follow up a turn 1 Tropical Island with a turn 2 Underground Sea.
costrander3689: Thanks Brother!
Grantley91: No Original duals (can get by with other dual lands); No grim tutor (Its the worst tutor in the deck); imperial seal would hurt ALOT more to lose but not many people can afford it. You could replace these with a high number of iffy tutors that would imbalance the deck some and make one of the combos a focal point. Eldritch Evolution, Summoner's Pact, Merchant Scroll, Shred Memory; Muddle the Mixture Drift of Phantasms, Fauna Shaman could all be justified but aren't ideal. You could also just add more interaction. Beyond that cutting Force of Will or a Mox Diamond could make sense.
enpc: Extract is a solid tutor. If I was making food chain the primary combo I would definitely include it, but it is my backup atm. If I focus more on it its definitely a solid include and a great focused hate piece to decks with a single point of failure.

A little concerned about a few things. Mabey you guys could clear them up.
Bloodghast is good for clamp, but not as reliable as fatestitcher because you need a land drop. I would think mabey running both would be better.
The other thing is that beast within or natural state seem perfect for the list because running plenty of removal seems necessary to succeed with this type of deck.
Let me know what you guys think, or if you think i am wrong.

IronBlackZepp: Thank you for the great questions. So in theory, Fatestitcher is better as a 3rd creature, but in practice it does not matter most of the time since we have a high creature concentration to ensure we get there. I actually just recorded the results from my last 100 goldfishes with the deck and the needed land mattered in 0 games and over 50 of my games were "won" with HD. On the other hand the upside of having a functionally useful creature in that slot you can repestedly recur into play for just a land has mattered in several of the games for both Skullclamp and Diabolic Intent. Havinf the ability flourish in slower games FAR outweighs the downside which has proven to be miniscule for this particular deck
Both beast within and natural state are solid includes, especially natural state, but we aim to be the hammer in most games and make others respond to us as opposed to interacting with others. I could see adding natural state in the right meta, but beast within is a bit too expensive for the types of decks this deck is designed to play against.

On the note of Natural State, given that you probably don't care about opponents' life totals, wouldn't Nature's Claim just be better?
May 24, 2017 9:42 p.m.
Lilbrudder says... #25
invigorate_berserk10: Thank you for the kind words. Natural state is certainly worse but in some metas having both is key.

so if you reaniamted nooze with dread return instead of labman couldn't the hermit druid combo cost instead of ?
