Still updating as I go, but getting pretty solid on the card list now. The deck uses bounces with some control to help the 0/0 Zombie Army and supporting creatures on the field. You'll be defending with them or slowly whittling the enemy until later when the 0/0 Zombie Army will have many counters, and ways to attack life with Menace, Flying, and/or Trample.

After playing the "Liliana's Legion" deck a bit I wanted to create a deck based on Amass. Keeping it Standard for now, and once the rotation happens I want to try and take this to arena historic, set block, and/or pioneer for paper games. When that happens the deck might split between a more zombie token or spell based deck since I'll have more card options.

Tempted to add God-Eternal Kefnet since there are a lot of spells in the deck. Not sure what I would end up dropping in favor of him though since I've already pruned out most creatures. Might have to be a mix of a few things like one Dreadhorde Twins and a few spells. I could remove a Gleaming Overseer for this too, but it is a solid card for the deck and helps make sure the zombie army is untouchable from removal/bounce.

Might add Nicol Bolas, the Ravager  /Nicol Bolas, the Arisen or Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God later. Even though it conflicts with the lore since I also have Liliana, Dreadhorde General in the deck I could see myself spinning it as when she was still under Bolas control, or they are both "fighting for control".

Sideboard Details...

Generally when sideboarding I will remove Opt first, unless I know some of my other cards will just be dead weight against their deck type.

2x Lazotep Plating If I am playing a deck with control and light on creatures, I'll remove some board wipe for these. That way I am able to better protect my zombies and enchantments from bounces/control.

2x Callous Dismissal For up to 4x total. While it is sorcery speed, it bounces ANYTHING other than land. Other cards lack ways to target enchantments, and this can help bounce to delay or combo with Thought Erasure to send to graveyard. I count it as a "1 cost" bounce, since it also has Amass 1 (1 mana for bounce, 1 mana for Amass). So in worst case scenarios, I don't feel like I am wasting too much mana if I need to bounce a 1 CMC creature since it also starts my Army token or buffs it.

1x Bedevil In case I need even more control to make this 4x in the deck.

2x Widespread Brutality If I am playing an aggressive deck with many creatures/tokens I can remove some control for these. This way I'm able to clear the board of their creatures more reliably.

2x Tyrant's Scorn I would use this for more "control" against an aggressive deck. As most of the time they use cheap creatures, or I can bounce more expensive ones to mess with their tempo and delay for better options.

1x Mountain Might need more red mana if I put in more Widespread Brutality. Since I would likely swap control spells for it, I would probably swap an Island for the mountain.

1x Island If I swap in more control with things like Lazotep Plating, it will tip the mana base more towards blue. Haven't swapped in this island yet, but adding for now in case I find I need to lean it more towards blue mana production.

1x Swamp Same deal as all the other mana, as some of the sideboard are black mana heavy.

I have finally completed replacing the lands, and started noticing a few cards not having much use or only use in specific matchups.

Removed...

1x Bloodfell Caves

1x Swiftwater Cliffs

1x Dismal Backwater

4x Evolving Wilds

1x Commence the Endgame Without more ways to draw cards constantly, when this would arrive late game I would usually only have 2-3 cards in hand after drawing. Meaning I would only get amass 2 or 3 out of it. There were some times I could hold onto extra lands or had higher costing cards that filled my hand, but more often than not this would not change the game much in this deck at the cmc value.

Replaced with...

1x Blood Crypt 4 total now

1x Steam Vents 4 total now

1x Watery Grave 4 total now

4x Fabled Passage Now if I have 3 lands before using this, it'll come into play untapped vs always tapped from Evolving Wilds

1x Liliana, Dreadhorde General While expensive, the draw when losing a creature is helpful and the zombie tokens created do get buffed from my support creatures as well. Additionally the sacrifice option can help me remove a Zombie Army token that I'm unable to use, for example if they have Pacifism put on them.

Sideboard Additions...
