After working for years to build a deck around one of my favorite mechanics, I've found a modular deck to fall in love with. Modular is a bad mechanic, but in this Mardu aggro build, it can pull its weight. The trick is to double modular death triggers with The Ozolith, Resourceful Defense, Teysa Karlov, or Drivnod, Carnage Dominos. With one of these out, five modular creatures with five counters each become one modular creature with 125 counters after the other four are sacrificed thanks to the power of exponential growth.

The goal of this deck is to rapidly build board presence until enough counters are assembled to execute this maneuver. Tymna provides ridiculous card draw with a critical mass of evasive creatures which lets us draw into our key pieces. Dargo is the deck's go-to sacrifice outlet for 1R in the command zone.
