Garruk Relentless  Flip can't be in this deck since his transformed side is black.

This was my first Commander deck and Elbrus, the Binding Blade  Flip can't be played either. It's all in good fun mate, besides they're both Flip cards FLAVOR.

You could use those 2 if you switched your Commander to something Black, Red, and Green, couldn't you?

I'm a little new to many aspects of this game so correct me if I'm wrong.

While it's true that you can't use Elbrus, Garruk actually can be used. He is only Green. While his backside might look black, there are no Black Mana symbols to be found upon him anywhere.

So, then why can't Elbrus / Withengar be used?

The color border is an indicator of the cards color. Just because there isn't a black mana symbol doesn't mean it isn't the indicated color.

The circle next to the card Type (Beside the "Planeswalker - Garruk" and "Legendary Creature - Demon") tells you what colors the card is. Therefore Garruk, the Veil-Cursed  Flip is GB, and Withengar Unbound  Flip is black. Just for clarification

There's always the new werewolves and Arlinn Kord you could use?

Yes! I've been thinking about returning to this deck for a while now, this has been mostly untouched for the good part of a year.

I'd love to see which wolves make the cut for this deck.

Aitorman It bugs me a little bit, but you do you.

Actually you could botth use elbrus and garruk as of rule 202.2. An object is the color or colors of the mana symbols in its mana cost, regardless of the color of its frame. so both of them are legal in this deck

Neoellinas21, Thank you for the clarification. However, I've not touched this deck on tappedout in a long and it's been disassembled in real life for years now. Though, I may be revisiting the concept soon.

still the thing with flip cards is a big thing in such commander decks because it helps you play cards like garruk in deck that you don't play black or still elbrus and it has to be clarified
