Seaside Citadel , Arcane Sanctum , Nemesis of Mortals , Drown in Filth , Grisly Salvage , Commune with the Gods are other cards that you might look into to. Especially Immortal Servitude , if you can manage to get most of your creatures at 3 cmc.

Thanks for the suggestions goodair!! I really like Mesmeric Orb , Cephalid Coliseum , Drown in Filth , and Seaside Citadel .. the problem is.. Idk what to take out from here to sub in for those cards D:
I would definitely love to have 3 of each: Cephalid Coliseum and Seaside Citadel Maybe 2x Drown in Filth And maybe.. maybe 1 Mesmeric Orb .
Literally have no idea what to take out though.. any suggestions?

Yea, I can help you out with this deck since i really like the idea and that its budget. But only if you help me out with my deck. =p I'm trying to do final fixes before I start getting the missing cards to finish building it. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/alentejana/

So far your noncreature spells are all good since you can cast them from the grave, so its mostly working on mana ratio and creatures, might be good to use 4x Drown in Filth though, that way you have a good chance of having it in your starting hand.

Ok, quick question about one of your lands.. Murmuring Bosk Do you essentially get Green AND either black or white mana. Or when you top does it only green to your mana pool and not black or white? and then if you want black or white it deals 1 damage to you? If that makes any sense lol
I'm also on the fence about 4x Drown in Filth Idk why but for some reason I feel like I should have 2x Golgari Charm instead and just keep 2x Drown in Filth
December 16, 2013 8:39 p.m.
It taps for green w/o any life loss, or it taps for black/white for 1 life. Its the only land that's affordable and has all 3 colors i need.
December 16, 2013 8:48 p.m.
That is actually super useful.. do you think it would be better for me to replace those with my current Golgari guildgates?
December 16, 2013 8:49 p.m.
Lets work on your spells first, that way we know what the color demand would be =p
December 16, 2013 8:55 p.m.
To be honest the only time I would need white is for Unburial Rites.
But what else would you suggest. I think it's good as is right now.. but if you know some really awesome budget-y spell cards that are blue black or green let me know!
December 16, 2013 8:59 p.m.
You can put Golgari Charm
on the side along with Ray of Revelation
, those would make good side board cards. Your also gonna need to find something that protects your graveyard, I'm sure there's cards that do that, just don't what they are called. But for your main board, here is what you should add/drop and then we can slim it down from there. I just looked up flashback on data base and picked the good ones =]:
2x Golgari Grave-Troll
4x Golgari Thug
2x Kessig Cagebreakers
1x Laboratory Maniac
4x Merfolk Looter
4x Armored Skaab
4x Riftstone Portal
4x Splinterfright
4x Stinkweed Imp
4x Civilized Scholar
Flip
4x Think Twice
/ Deep Analysis
i like deep analysis more but its a sorcery so its up to you
3x Bridge from Below
4x Tracker's Instincts
1x Dread Return
4x Roar of the Wurm
4x Lingering Souls
cut:
Rot Farm Skeleton
, - you wanna be doing other things with your mana
Deranged Assistant
- feel like he wouldn't help much
December 16, 2013 9:04 p.m.
Laboratory Maniac you only need one and by the time your about to run out of your grave, unburial rights should be in your grave ready to play him
December 16, 2013 9:06 p.m.
Hmm.. some of those cards I really like, like Civilized Scholar Flip I guess I'll need to tweak the numbers of the creatures in this deck a bit. As for spells, I like Lingering Souls and Think Twice idk how I feel about 4x Golgari Thug . I'm perfectly fine with him being at 2. And as for Rot Farm Skeleton .. Idk why, but I REALLY like that card.. that was the first card I thought of when I created the idea for this deck. Deranged Assistant I can cut. I just like him cause he's a 2 drop that mills top card and adds 1 generic to my mana pool which is sometimes super useful early game.. especially if you have 2 out
December 16, 2013 9:15 p.m.
Rot Farm Skeleton is too mana intensive, you need to waste a turn to bring him back and any chump block can kill him, making it annoying for you. Honestly better off using your mana to get you closer to playing Golgari Grave-Troll , Kessig Cagebreakers , or Splinterfright which will treat you better. Riftstone Portal was a land that I always imagined in putting into a dredge deck, but you actually got me a good base deck to build off.
December 16, 2013 9:23 p.m.
Very good point you bring up sir. I will have to maybe make a deck around those eventually though, cause for some reason, I have a big love for the card. The artwork, the fact that it's green black and is a reanimate card.. it's just found a soft spot in my heart haha :P
December 16, 2013 9:30 p.m.
Golgari Thug , your right about 2x but i just did 4x on cards that are good to have mutliples, not really sure on how many of what would be best, thats what we gotta work on now. I just gave you a list of potential cards.
December 16, 2013 9:30 p.m.
You can leave 1 in the deck for the lols, just not 4 bc you can use that space for other cards =p
December 16, 2013 9:32 p.m.
1x Dread Return with 3-4x Lingering Souls is a package i would def include. You can sac other enabler creatures too but its essentially a free rez for when your tight on mana.
December 16, 2013 9:35 p.m.
That's really the biggest problem I have when deckbuilding. I'm never too sure about how many copies of what cards I need, and what will work best. Any suggestions as the deck is now? and I most likely will put 1 Rot Farm Skeleton back :P I like it too much to completely get rid of it
December 16, 2013 9:35 p.m.
What i do is list all the cards as 4x then look at them individually and ask, how often do i want to see this card. 4x is always, 3 is usuually, 2x is its ok, and 1x is a card you can tutor or just doesn't have a huge impact on your deck. After that, you just completely drop cards that are weak by themselves, it might be a good combo piece, but unless its game changing combo piece, you should drop it.
December 16, 2013 9:42 p.m.
That's why i asked for you to post all those cards i listed for you along with the spells you got now
December 16, 2013 9:42 p.m.
Makes sense... let me work at this a bit, I'll get back to you with an updated list
December 16, 2013 9:43 p.m.
Ok so this is what I've come up with so far...
2x Golgari Grave-Troll 2x Golgari Thug 2x Kessig Cagebreakers 1x Laboratory Maniac 4x Merfolk Looter 2x Armored Skaab 4x Splinterfright 4x Stinkweed Imp 2x Civilized Scholar Flip 2x Think Twice 1x Dread Return 4x Lingering Souls 3x Artful Dodge 2x Drown in Filth 2x Life from the Loam 2x Lingering Souls 4x Unburial Rites 3x Gnaw to the Bone 4x Cephalid Coliseum 3x Dakmor Salvage 3x Dimir Guildgate 1x Forest 4x Golgari Guildgate 1x Island 4x Seaside Citadel 1x Swamp
December 16, 2013 9:56 p.m.
That came out to 67.. assuming I did the math right
December 16, 2013 9:57 p.m.
copy your current deck so you still have your current list saved, and then paste what you got onto here so its easier to see
goodair says... #1
You might like Mesmeric Orb and Cephalid Coliseum . Cephalid Coliseum is great with Life from the Loam as it gets you to draw cards and discard, would be alot of fun if you think its worth the lil extra cost.
