how do you plan on casting Endbringer when your only generic mana creators are sol ring and thought vessel?

See Beyond can be a good card draw as well.

Also Torrential Gearhulk may be of interest.

Turn Aside could also be a decent cheap counter in this deck, as well as providing some fuel to the storm, as well as Select for Inspection

If you go for the wincon by commander damage you should also consider making your commander unblockable with cards such as Whispersilk Cloak or Rogue's Passage or Key to the City.

I'm lovin' a good white blue control EDH deck. I'm loving the evasive equipment but I think your mana base could use a few more budget fixlands, like the azorius duel land. I think your wincons are good, but you lack tutors to find them. I couldn't find a spell that fetches Aetherflux Reservoir (which seems really important to have out) in your decklist, although your card draw could make up for that. Might I suggest Fabricate? Reshape, Whir of Invention, or Tinker works too. I would cut Absorb

Fractured Identity. Since you have the Crawler, I'd suggest more card draw Temple Bell, Howling Mine, Rhystic Study, or heck, Mystic Remora

Or to try to abuse rebound, Serum Visions, Brainstorm, Ponder, & Gitaxian Probe

I'm a fan of this, +1 cause it's gonna be so good. Be prepared to be the #1 target every game cause everyone will assume you're going for the infinite turn win, which is absurdly easy with Taigam AND uncounterable.

Reconnaissance will be a ultra powerful card in this deck as it is with Kaalia of the Vast. Time Warp wins the game for you if you recur. Even more so with Time Stretch, which will probably make people concede on it's own. 4 turns for 10 mana is absurd. Did I mention all of this will be uncounterable?

More ways to protect Taigam and recur sorceries and instants will be needed. This deck will dominate and be hated, I have no doubt. Can't wait for C17 to drop, tell me how it goes once it does.

By the way, Elspeth, Sun's Champion would be perfect for this deck. Power 4 or greater, what's Taigam's power again? Eesh that's gonna make opponents gnash their teeth I think. :)

By the way, you can't take pay for buyback on Walk the Aeons and have it rebound. And you can't rebound Temporal Tresspass. The spell needs to be heading to the graveyard to be able to rebound it.

mrmattshirley while thats true, you can rebound it and as it is cast again from exile, you may pay the buyback

why do you have Trophy Mage when you only have two targets for it, neither of which really seem to warrant trophy mage a spot?

Ramp card ideas- Myriad Landscape: ramp card in a land, pretty much an auto-include in any deck that doesn't have green as a color. Commander's Sphere and Sword of the Animist are two really good ramp cards in my opinion. Burnished Hart and the common staple Solemn Simulacrum will do the job of ramp too.

You don't run Ponder or Preordain and I'm curious why they're on the sideline. Seem like superb cheap draw/filter cards that'll be value city with rebound. I think they're both easily better than Divination and the like.

Happy to see you're play testing the deck and spell-slinging away, and congrats on 1000 views :)

OH I'M A FUCKING IDIOT

I've got a Sword of the Animist just lying around in my trade binder, and it's perfect for this. redace10 , you are a goddamn lifesaver. I quite literally had a game today where I had to spend a whole turn doing nothing but scrying to lands, but attacking every single turn that game thanks to Thassa's unblockable.

Ponder and Preordain should probably be in here too, honestly. :P

That's pretty funny, I recently had the same revelation about Sigarda's Aid for my Ojutai deck. Just chilling in a binder forever till I came across it one day recently and my jaw dropped. Doh!

I took a peak at your card costs/land chart below. You are skewed very heavily to blue yet your land sources are split pretty much 50/50. Might want to rethink that.

An earlier commenter was kinda rude but actually was right about Narset Transcendent. If Taigam gets shut down somehow, he's pretty much THE value engine of your entire deck. Having a Plan B type card is a good idea if your deck is so reliant on a mechanic your commander gives.

Forsake the Worldly is strictly better than Fate Forgotten right?

Primal Amulet just dropped in Ixalan, it's an awesome card for Taigam. Getting a spell to resolve twice off one cast is great. Three times is just bonkers. All you need is two rebounded spells and it will flip. Kinda think that card was made for Taigam, he wields it better than any other commander out there IMO.

I made a Taigam deck that I simply love playing with, and I found a few instances that could interest you. Gods Willing, Shelter, and Sheltering Light are great cards for Taigam. As Foretold synergizes beautifully with them, and is actually just a really good card in a spellslinger deck.

Take a peak if you're interested: Taigam, Twice the Reckoning

What about Monastery Mentor???

Mystic Sanctuary should work wonders here, along with giving you a soft lock should you ever add Cryptic Command or Deprive, and even then it lets you draw the best spell out of your graveyard should you choose not to run either. Also can be fetched out with non-basic fetches.
