This is a Pir and Toothy deck designed to be somewhat tuned without having a crazy budget. This deck centers around Pir specifically, encouraging you to go wide with beefy, evasive creatures. This deck is designed to give you a fun puzzle box in how you can optimize growing your +1/+1 counters every turn (without too much solitaire). There are enough control and toolbox cards in here as well to allow for some politics/interaction without just playing generic goodstuff.

I purposefully avoid too many cards that are a bit too strong/expensive (doubling season, cyclonic rift) or abuse Toothy with clones/flicker effects. You've got to work a bit but once you get 3+ creatures all with counters on them and mass trample it is so worth it.

While Toothy can absolutely consistently draw you a massive amount of cards, he is best used to catch up when you need more draw or protection for your board. It is not uncommon to lose tempo and pump toothy to lethal damage in a few turns late game.
